Description
Strong Construction. The Spec P-Trim Super Twin Clutch is a quality upgrade that will prove beneficial on your high-powered street or race car in a variety of uses. This unit is carefully crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum for superior durability, and features high carbon billet steel that is milled to an industry standard 0.001 inch. Consequently, you get unsurpassed balance and actuation that provides ideal performance for your pony car. The dampened, full-faced carbon graphite discs provide friction for better bite and quicker shift times.
Quality Benefits. The all-billet construction provides a smooth and quiet operation that is also maintenance-free. This particular kit, feauturing the P-Trim, has a torque capacity of 1200 lb-ft. It is designed specifically for use on high horsepower cars. It offers near-stock drivability for ultimate comfort, and is built to last so you can enjoy it for years to come. This kit can be rebuildable by Spec or the driver, using the slew of available parts from the manufacturer.
Race Ready. This twin disc kit can be used in the following applications: street driving, drifting, drag racing, time attack and rally racing. It will prove versatile and beneficial for you and your Mustang GT no matter where you choose to take it.
Expert Level Install. To install a clutch kit, it is usually necessary to drop the vehicle's transmission. This can prove to be difficult for some, which is why you may want to choose to have this unit installed by a licensed professional with a high level of mechanical expertise. Once that step is complete, the stock setup needs to come out and be replaced by the new one using the included alignment key. This installation is estimated to take four hours in all.
Limited Warranty. Spec products are backed by a limited warranty that guarantees they will be free from any defects in materials or craftsmanship.
