Description
Quality Construction. The Spec P-Trim Super Twin Clutch - 8 Bolt is the ideal clutch kit upgrade for your Mustang GT that can handle a wide range of uses. The super twin series is crafted from aircraft grade aluminum and high carbon billet steel that is milled to an industry-leading 0.001 inch to achieve the best balance and actuation possible. Friction is provided by the dampened, full-faced carbon graphite discs for optimal performance.
Pure Performance. With an all-billet construction, these units are smooth and quiet. This kit has a torque capacity of 1395 lb-ft and is ideal for cars with extreme horsepower and torque. It offers near-stock drivability with a high longevity and bolt-in installation. It also offers a maintenance free operation for further convenience. The units are completely rebuildable by Spec or the user itself, as replacement components are always available.
Uses. This twin disc kit is best suited for drag racing, drifting, street driving, time attack and rally racing. It should be used solely on Mustang GT models with an 8-bolt crank.
Advanced Installation. This clutch kit includes everything you will need for a seamless install. It is highly recommended that you have it installed by professionals, since dropping the transmission is usually necessary in order to install a clutch kit. Once the stock setup is off your Mustang,the new kit will go right on using the included alignment tool. Total installation time is estimated at around 4 hours.
