Description
Performance Replacement Pistons. The Speedmaster 3.905-Inch Bore Flat Top Forged Pistons with a 1.065-Inch Compression Distance provide high-strength, lightweight options designed to improve engine durability and power output. These pistons are intended for naturally aspirated or moderate nitrous applications, delivering reliable performance essential for racing and high-performance street engines.
Construction and Appearance. Made from 4032 forged aluminum alloy, these pistons are up to 20% lighter than traditional forged pistons, reducing harmful stress concentrations for greater strength and quieter operation. They feature a flat top design with two valve reliefs and a surface finish optimized to reduce piston-to-wall clearance.
Installation. Basic to moderate engine assembly skills are required for installation, with no drilling necessary. These pistons are designed to fit precisely and require appropriate rail spacer support for optimal function.
Warranty. Comes with a 12-month limited worldwide warranty. Application. Fits 1997 to 2004 Corvette C5 models, excluding the Z06, ensuring compatibility with standard C5 engines.
