The UMI Performance Stage 1 Drag Front End Handling Suspension Package is built for 1993 to 1997 5.7L Camaro owners seeking weight reduction and superior front-end performance for drag racing. Designed to save over 30 pounds from the nose of the car, this package improves weight transfer and handling precision under launch and high-speed conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This system features a heavy-duty dual-tube K-member and chromoly tubular lower A-arms, complete with race-grade rod ends and pre-installed premium ball joints. The A-arms alone offer an extra 1.5-pound weight savings over standard designs. Compatible with the factory steering rack, the kit includes new Grade 10.9 hardware for long-lasting strength and durability. Finished in a durable powder coat, each component is proudly manufactured in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, ensuring precision fit and American-made reliability.
Installation. Installation is hard and requires advanced mechanical knowledge, a lift or jack stands, and proper torque tools. As a direct bolt-in replacement with no welding required, it is well-suited for high-performance builds or serious drag racing projects.
