Description
Performance Suspension Upgrade. The UMI Performance Single Adjustable Rear Lower Control Arms in Black are designed to significantly enhance rear suspension handling by replacing the standard stamped steel arms and rubber bushings. This upgrade reduces wheel hop and improves cornering stability, making it an ideal choice for track or autocross enthusiasts seeking improved traction and consistency.
Construction and Appearance. These control arms are built from 1.500” diameter DOM mild steel tubing with 0.120” wall thickness, featuring 4130 chrome-moly threaded tube adapters. Precision CNC machining and TIG welding ensure exceptional strength and durability. Finished with a durable powder coat, the arms provide both corrosion resistance and a clean, professional look.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with direct bolt-on compatibility using OEM hardware, requiring no modifications or drilling. This makes upgrading the rear suspension practical for most installers.
Application. Designed specifically for use on 1999 to 2004 Ford Mustangs, these control arms exclude fitment on Cobra models due to differing suspension designs.
