Performance Handling. Installing a set of Vogtland Progressive Rate Springs will lower your 2015-2017 Convertible GT Mustang's center of gravity, which will help reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. Vogtland Sport Springs are ideal for daily driving, street, and even occasional track use.

Lowered Muscle Car Stance. Not only does a set of Vogtland Sport Springs improve the handling performance of your Mustang, but they also improve its overall appearance. By lowering the ride height approximately 1.0" in the front and rear, that huge tire to fender gap is eliminated, providing your Mustang with a classic muscular stance.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your stock size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This set of four Vogtland Sport Lowering Springs are specifically designed for use on 2015-2017 convertible GT Mustang models equipped with independent rear suspension (IRS).

Hi. For my 2016 gt convertible, What is the difference between these and the eibach pro-kit 35145.140 ? Thanks.

Rick

  • For the Vogtland Sport Lowering Spring Kit, the front springs have a rate of 182.72 lb/in. and the rear have a rate of 799.4 lb/in. For the Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs (15-17 GT), item # 384456, (http://www.americanmuscle.com/eibach-prokit-springs-2015.htmls), the front springs have a rate of 200-314 lb/in and the rears have 800-914 lb/in. They both will drop the car about 1" in the front and rear.

i have a 2015 fastback gt. im looking for a progressive spring with less than 1 inch lowering. if I put these springs designed for the convertible on my fastback gt, will that work properly while providing less than 1 inch lowering?

raf

  • The Vogtland Sport Lowering Spring Kit - Convertible (15-17 GT) are intended to work for the Convertible models only. We can no guarantee they will work properly on a fastback. We do carry the Ford Performance Street Lowering X-Springs - Fastback (15-17 GT, EcoBoost) which will drop your car about 1" and is a progressive spring. http://www.americanmuscle.com/frpp-x-springs-2015gt.html
