If there is no escape from that excess pressure, it could cause air and heat to cycle back through your supercharger and surge the compressor. However, for a bypass valve to function properly, you need a tube to vent that air, which is where the Mustang BV57 Valve Discharge Tube comes in. This BV57 Valve Tube helps your bypass valve vent that excess pressure and prevent damage from occurring to your supercharger.

Designed for BV57 Valve. This product is compatible with Vortech and Paxton Supercharger applications and designed as a direct addition to a BV57 Valve. This tube is commonly referred to as BV57 Tube “A.”
