Description
Superior Construction. The Vortech V-2 SCi-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit with a Charge Cooler will take your Mustang Cobra to the next level. Crafted from OEM-type cast aluminum, this system features a centrifugal supercharger featuring Vortech's "SQ" technology for a highly reliable and nearly silent operation. This version is coated in a lasting polished finish for added styling.
Gains and Improvements. Right off the assembly line, the 2001 Mustang Cobra delivers an impressive 320 horsepower and 317 lb./ft. of torque. With this high output system, your Cobra can reach 490 horsepower and 420 lb./ft of torque. The integrated air/water dual-pass charge cooler configuration has a maintenance-free design and allows for additional horsepower gains you can feel. With the tuner kit, your Cobra has the potential to hit 725 horses.
Advanced Installation. This supercharger kit comes with all the necessary hardware and parts needed for a smooth installation. It is recommended, however, that you seek out a professional with a high level of mechanical expertise to perform this install. The entire process should take about a day.
3-Year Warranty. Vortech offers an exclusive 3-year unlimited mileage warranty and efficiency guarantee on all its supercharger systems. Please visit the manufacturer's official website for full details and exclusions.
Tuner Kit. Tuner Kits include the Supercharger Head Unit, piping, mounting bracketry and parts required for basic installation. Tuner Kits do not include fuel components, electronic components, programmer or calibration. Custom dyno tuning is required for operation.
Application. The Vortech V-2 SCi-Trim Supercharger Tuner Kit with a Charge Cooler in a Polished Finish will fit the 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra.
Please Note. This Supercharger Kit will require the use of a Battery Relocation Kit, part# 8N150-010 (sold separately).
