Description
High-Performance Upgrade. The Whipple W140AX 2.3L Intercooled Supercharger Upgrade Kit; Black is engineered to provide a substantial increase in airflow, cooler charge temperatures, and improved efficiency over the factory Eaton supercharger. This kit is designed to enhance throttle response, torque delivery, and overall power output while retaining use of the stock throttle body for a clean, OEM-style installation.
Construction and Appearance. The system features a twin-screw compressor constructed with precision CAD-designed components that optimize airflow and efficiency. It includes a billet oversized bypass valve and an internally lubricated design that eliminates the need for external oil reservoirs. The finish is a durable textured black, providing both a sleek look and corrosion resistance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward as a direct bolt-on replacement with no engine or PCM modifications or recalibration required at the 13 psi setting. No oil pan tapping or additional equipment such as catch cans are needed, streamlining the upgrade process.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 03-04 Mustang Cobra with Stock Throttle Body.
