    Review & Install Video

Hey everyone I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com and I’m taking a look at the classic mustang wheel design and by far our most popular wheel here at AmericanMuscle, Im referring to these Bullitt wheels for all 2005 and up model mustangs in either chrome, matte black, anthracite silver or gloss black. Bullitt wheels have long been the favorite of many Mustang owners out there, from the classic 60s roots to the factory built for Bullitt mustangs in 2001 and then again in 08 and 09, it's easy to see why these wheels look so good on Mustangs of all ages. Wheels are available in 17, 18, 19, and 20 inch diameters and are offered in both staggered and non-staggered fitments. They are also offered with a very cool deep dish option that refers to the lip around the wheel itself, as you can see the face of the wheel is set further back into the rim resulting in a nice thick lip which looks very tough. As I mentioned before these wheels are available in both staggered and non-staggered fitments. Now, staggered fitment means your rear wheels and tires are going to be wider than your fronts, that’s exactly what we’ve done with our 06 GT here, we have the 9s up front with the 10s our back resulting in that classic muscle car stance. Now this is also better for your traction and handling as well thanks to the fact that you are able to run a wider rear tire so you can help get that power down to the ground. If you’re not a fan of staggered fitment then you might want to check out our non-staggered or standard fitment like we have installed on our 07 GT back there on the lift, we have the matte black standard 17x9s on all four corners and as you can see it looks really sharp. Or say you really want to change up the look of your ride and you live and die by the saying bigger is always better, well if that sounds like you then you will definitely want to check out our 20x8 1/2s on our 2011 GT back there on our dyno jet whichever finish you end up going with you can rest assure that every wheel is covered by our 1 year finish warranty and a lifetime structural guarantee. You can get these wheels by themselves or in one of our pre-built tire and wheel combos which pair your new Bullitt wheels up with some of better performing tires on the market today in sizes that are guaranteed to fit without rubbing even if you are lowered an inch or two, you also get to take advantage of our free mounting and balancing, optional nitro fill and free shipping and handling. Of course with you 2007 and up guys you’ll want to remember your TPMS sensor when ordering your new wheels. You don’t want your new wheels to be held on by some rusty looking lug nuts, this will be a great time to ditch those eyesores and get a new lug nut to better fit your new Bullitt wheels and of course you want to pick up some wheel locks to protect your investment. Installing a new set of wheels and tires is something any backyard mechanic should be able to tackle, all you need to do is simply crack your lug nuts loose first while the car is still on the ground then jack your car up and switch the wheels, it’s just that easy. Using a basic floor jack and hand tools that should take you no more than an hour, so if you are looking to evoke that classic muscle car styling on your modern ride, these Bullitt wheels from AmericanMuscle will give you an aggressive look that is sure never to go out of style.

Classic Bullitt Muscle. Show off your proud pony heritage with the muscular good looks of the iconic 19x10 Bullitt rim, the classic design with seamless arms flowing to an aggressively deep lip. Designed for a staggered setup, this rim looks incredible with our matching 19x8.5 Chrome Bullitt rims in the front.

Deep Dish. The dramatic deep lip exaggerates width for an aggressive stance that commands attention.

Triple Chrome Plated. This wheel is plated in a three step process that includes copper, nickel, and then chrome for a bright show winning shine. Lighter than other chrome wheels which are steel underneath, these wheels are cast from lightweight aluminum so they won't slow you down.

Lifetime Warranty. Our wheels have a lifetime structural warranty, which means you'll never have to worry about the workmanship of your new wheels.

1 Year Finish Warranty. Your new Mustang wheels have a 1 year warranty against defects in the finish of your wheels. Drive them daily, not just to the shows! For more information on wheel warranties, click here.

I own a 2014 Mustang GT/CS I autox this car. I want a set of tires and wheels just for autox. Do II need TMP sensors ?

    • If you are using your vehicle for autocross, most racing organizations will not require them on your vehicle even with the light on your dash. I personally recommend consulting with your tracks rules and regulations to see their view on TPMS sensors.

I notice on the centre cap of the chrome bullit wheels are shown in chrome and then sometimes in black do you get a choice. I prefer chrome.

    • The Deep Dish Bullitt Chrome Wheel comes with chrome center caps. You can switch them out after you receive them.

      Stunning Wheels

These wheels are stunningly beautiful! The finish is brilliant and flawless. These 19” chrome Bullitt style wheels are perfectly suited for my 2011 Race Red Mustang. The pictures say it all. AM is the only supplier I could find that sells Bullitt wheels in 19” diameter. In my opinion, 18” wheels are just a bit too small and 20” wheels are just a bit too big. Thanks to AM for offering the 19 inchers. They were delivered to Ontario, Canada in only 3 days. Thanks to being well protected in the boxes, there wasn’t a mark on them. The tire installers commented on how great the wheels looked and how they changed the stance of the car. I ordered the wheels on their own, rather than in a package with tires, because AM didn’t offer the Nitto NT05 tires that I wanted at the time. Now they do and I recommend to anyone to order these wheels with the NT05’s directly from AM. These tires and wheels look terrific together and you’ll save the hassle of buying them separately and having them installed yourself.

      Classic look

These wheels are beautiful. I have these in the rear (19x10) and 19x8.5 in the front for a staggered set up. The 275-40-19 tire is perfect this wheel.

      Center Caps

I was very disappointed that Ford Center Caps do not fit this wheel. I did not know that only American Muscle will fit, thus no horse on my center cap.

      Worth the wait

Perfect in every every way... Mirror finish on these triple chrome plated rims are are show stopper. Also adding the Mustang premium center caps and lowering the stance 1.5 inches adds to the appearance and the the ride performance. Don't know why I every waiting so long to try at staggered fitment with 10's at the rear the staggered fitment is way ...IN CONTROL

      Offset Glory

I have them paired with 19x8.5" rims in the front and I could not be happier. I also added FRPP P-springs at the same time which lowered the car 1inch in the front and rear. I ordered my tires from a Ford dealer and had them do the mount and balancing. I have them wrapped in Hankook Evo's 245x45 in the front and 275x40 in the rear. I could have gone to a 50 series in the rear to further eliminate the gap even though it’s already lowered one inch. My favorite feature would have to be increased traction. When making a 90 degree right turn from a dead stop when jumping into traffic it is tricky not to spin the wheels, but the wider tire makes taking off much easier and really grabs the pavement. Also, the 10inch wide tire will tend to pick up more debris and throw it against the rear fenders. This is a necessary evil in order to enjoy the increased traction, offset look, and increased muscle car feel. Note: the 45 series in the front look to be the max size I can squeeze in.

      Nice wheels

Quite honestly 18s are to small and 20s are to big. Got these and the tpms and lug nuts from american muscle. When they arrived I went to tire factory and had them mated with Hankook Ventus V12 EVO. I have 19x8.5 wheels, 245/45-19 tires in the front. 19x10 wheels, 275/40-19 in the rear.
