Fine-tunes Suspension. J&M 4-bolt caster camber plates replace the wimpy stock rubber strut mount bushings with a spherical bearing, which allows you to take full control of our Mustangs suspension geometry. Depending on your driving needs you can set your alignment for track, street, or strip, these plates will allow you to get the most out of your Pony's suspension.

Strong And Durable. 100% Pulse MIG welded for the ultimate in strength, durability, and fit these bearing mounts are completely adjustable and feature a special chrome moly replaceable teflon lined spherical bearing to reduce noise for quiet ride.

Unique design. J&M engineers designed the bearing plate to be mounted underneath the top main plate for a larger foot print to spread the load throughout the main supporting plate for extra strength, unlike the competitions weaker designs.

Will these work with... Do these have enough adjustment for the Eibach sportline springs with a 1.7-2in drop in the front?

    DrProfessorSir

    • Yes. A professional alignment shop will be able to dial in your Mustangs caster/camber settings extremely well with these J&M Caster Camber Plates. Don't forget to get a bump steer kit to avoid any problems with that much of a drop.

Will these work with SR Performace Coil overs? 3 bolt SR ccp wont work, will these or any other brands?

    Bradley

    • The J&M Caster Camber Plates (94-04 All) will not work. SR makes two sets of caster camber plates, the one you bought, and one they make specifically for the SR coil over kit. You need the SR Performance Coilover Caster Camber Plates (94-04) (Item #101574) and you can find that here: http://www.americanmuscle.com/srperformance-coilover-castercamber-9404.html

Will these fit? Will these fit Sr lowering springs 1.5 inch drop front and rear and brilstein HD shocks?

    GT2001

    • These will fit your 2001 GT. The bilsteins may have a wider shaft, but they are tapered down to fit into the stock strut mounts, so they will fit into these plates. Due to your drop you will have to slightly modify (cut down) the lower rubber bushing on the bottom side of the strut mounting hole. Follow the instructions for lowered vehicles and place the bushing in the appopriate spots. These will work fine and wil help with any alignment issues.

      Excellent product

I love the ease of adjustment and the overall look of these caster camber plates. Install was easy after the strut was removed. I took my time, and it probably only took me 2 hours from start to finish. Drilling the 4th hole included. All hardware fit perfectly, but the pictures on the instructions could have been a little more clear. They were a little on the small and blurry side. So, when I did the first CC plate, it was difficult to tell which way I needed to have the plate aligned. After buttoning things up though, it became apparent how they are supposed to mount. The finish looks good, they are easy to adjust and they seem very solid. I'd recommend them.

      Super Nice

These worked awesome! Pretty easy install, the instructions that came with them are kinda difficult to follow and the pictures are blurry but there are plenty of tutorials online. Drilling the 4th hole can be intimidating but it wasn't bad at all.

Great quality, good instructions, great adjustability

I bought these to accompany my Eibach sportlines, SR Performance shock and struts, and rear control arms. Take your time and read the instructions. When you open the box there are a lot of parts. Instructions were good, but pics were a little unclear. But fimiliarize yourself with the components and it will go together well. The quality and fit / finish was great. I love that these had bearings, not bushings like some cheaper units.

      J M Caster Camber Plates

Last December, I had my stock springs replaced with the Eibach Pro-Kit Springs, which lowered my 2000 Mustang GT 1.5" all the way around. Afterwards I went to get my car aligned, but the shop was unable to make the proper adjustments to the camber. So after reading the reviews on American Muscle, I decided to purchase the JandM Caster Camber Plates. After receiving them, I went to Diamante Motors Inc. in National City to get them installed. After the plates were installed, the shop had no problem re-aligning my car and getting the camber values back in Spec. They charged me $250 for both the install and alignment.

      Nice product

Very nice item, installation was easy and did not take much time. Could send more spacers with product, had to cut stock spacer to fit the strut on the car with the spacers they sent. Called j&m and they were very helpful.

      Look No Further

I put these caster/camber plates on my GT after getting tired of the stock mounts. Not only was this product very easy to install, customer service at J&M was personal and helpful when I had any questions. Keep in mind this takes a good amount of patience and needs drilling in two spots. Regarding the actual product, the plates are obviously built with pride and durability right here in 'Murica and are a breeze to line up. Just make sure when you slap these on to take them immediately to an alignment shop. Overall: Get 'em.

Save your money & time Do Not Buy

Spend the $30 extra and get the maximum motorsports kit cause this one sucks.Had it installed and then it was a squeaky metal on metal sound just like the SR kit I was very disappointed and should have stuck with my gut and got the maximum motorsports kit,now I have to pay again to replace these its not worth it trust me.

      Good

Did not come with the lock nuts to complete the installation. Given the options of calling the manufacturer or go to the hardware store... I went to the hardware store and got the correct nuts and completed the installation, as I needed my car aligned now, not two weeks from now. overall good product. Make sure your alignment man knows what he's doing or he might take an air hammer to the side of your brand new CC plates... ask me how I know.

Installed these with my H&R lowering springs and the ride is completely different. Handling is better but I can't really tell which made the difference. Would recommend these to all my fellow Mustang owners for sure they look great under the good!

      AWESOME!

Got this product after reading past reviews. Once installed, alignment was put into spec no problem. Guy at work took 20 minutes out of the day to complete this for me and guessing by the time it took to get it done the alignment couldn't have been hard. Also just because they say "4 bolt" doesn't mean you have to use all for. I skipped the 4th avoiding the drilling and product still does perfect just like a "3 bolt" So don't let that keep you from purchasing these because it almost happen to me. If you need caster camber plates buy these! You will not be disappointed.

      ok product

I got the J&M cc plates and the were awesome fixed the alignment and improved the handling but after riding on them for like 10,000 miles the front end started to make a chattering sound. the metal ball inside the cc plate broke and am sent me replacement ones. but then sure enough the new set broke around the same mileage. I have an 01 GT lowered 1.5 inches.

      Great and easy to adjust!

The instructions were a little vague to me and I had to make extra spacers that it didn't come with to keep my shocks tight. I had to cut one of the original spacers in half to accomodate this. This was otherwise an easy install and helped me fix my alignment after lowering my 96 Stang.

I swapped over to a coil over. I put these to replace the weak stock ones, mainly because I got sick of drilling holes in the old one. Very easy install and makes it easier for lowered cars.

      Good product

Received these Friday night. Put them together that evening. When putting them together make sure they have full range of motion because you can assemble them incorrectly. The next morning I installed them and they went on easy. The instructions could be a little more clear about which of the factory parts in the bump start in case a novice does the work. Great buy for the money.

      Caster camber plates are great.

Never realized that these would improve the handling of my stang so much. It takes hard corners like a champ now at speeds greater than 40 like no problem which is definitely a surprise for a muscle car. I would recommend these ones because there is no drilling required. I had mine done professionally by my bud who is a master mechanic but it could easily be done if you follow the install guide, not much to it since there's no drilling. These will stand up your tires too if your car is lowered so you get even wear on your tires.
