Thats exactly what I wanted :)
The air intake arrived pretty quick, thank you AM! Installation was really a piece of cake, no need to cut/modify anything, fits perfectly! Honestly, I do not know, how much is the power gain, as I installed it together with Borla ATAKs, but let me tell you - these two things work well together!!! The sound is awesome now, I can hear the engine breathing in and it also look much better. And just because of the size of the filter, it is quite obvious, that it enables the air to flow in without any restriction! In brief - I do recommend this product, it is definetly money well spent and I also appreciate, that it is not necessary to tune the engine :)Helpful (4)

I finally bought a cai for my ride and went with AFE because of the possible HP gains and man it doesn't disappoint. It sounds so good going down the street most likely from all that extra air it's sucking in. Next up installing the FM outlaw mufflers. Thanks again AM for having so many variations of goodies for us Mustang lovers to chose from. My only gripe i had was the evap plastic tube was crushed a lil bit, nothing big.Helpful (6)

I'm an amateur at best... When I installed the CAI, I also added a new (GMS High Performance Slot-Style MAF Meter / Sensor - calibrated.) both parts are calibrated for stock mustang engines. These two together made a huge sound and performance difference. In my opinion, the car even shifts smother because there is less restriction. It's a great combo. You have to remove the original sensor to install the CAI regardless, so if you have the money, add the performance sensor with it. Even if you stumble through an install, it should be less than two hours to install. If you know what you are doing you can do the whole job in less than an hour. Consult your America muscle professional if you have any questions. FYI, the CAI doesn't look as ridiculous as you would think by the free standing photo. It looks alright. Also, Cleaning instructions come with the dry filter.Helpful (5)

2010 mustang gt owners, STAY AWAY!!
Purchase this cai for my 2010 mustang gt and it DOES NOT FIT. It is physically impossible to get both hose and box to fit in the engine bay.Helpful (4)

This AFE CAI is a great CAI. I have a 2005 Mustang gt bone stock with no mods .I bought one of these and man you can tell a big difference. The throttle response is better and it gets up and go's better .I have noticed power gains for low to mid range performance and I love when you rev it you can hear that CAI sucking up all that air. Also so clean it about once a month and it'll last forever. Up next I'm getting the 62mm throttle body with the throttle body spacer to go with itHelpful (6)
Why does this intake not fit my 2010 GT? How can I make it work
This AFE Magnum Force Stage 2 Pro DRY S Cold Air Intake is designed to work on 2010 GT's. If this intake is not fitting correctly, please feel free to reach out to our customer service department via phone, email or chat!
Kind of curious. Why choose this CAI over some of the more well known brands such as JLT, Steeda or Airaid??
There are many options for cold air intakes. It all comes down to what meets your needs the best. Some considerations to think about when ordering your CAI will include if you want a tune required or no tune required, closed or open box, and the styling of your engine bay. If the AFE Magnum Force Stage 2 Pro DRY S Cold Air Intake meets your needs the best then you should choose it for your setup.
I WOULD KNOW IF THIS PART FIT EXACTLY FOR MUSTANG 2010 OR NOT ?? AND THIS PART SHOULD NOT HAVE HILL ON THE MIDDLE OF THIS INTAKE TO LINK IT WITH THE HOSE AS THE STOCK ONE ? THIS PART COULD INSTALLATION FRO AUTOMATIC GEAR OR JUST FOR MANUAL ? AND HOW THE BEST WAY TO INSTALLATION THIS PART BY CONNECTING THE BATTER OR DISCONNECT THE BATTER ?
This will fit a 2010 Mustang GT and will replace the stock hosing and filter. This will also come with an instruction sheet and you can always check out install videos to help you with the installation if you chose to do it on your own.
when i installation this part my engine started switch of by himself and also there is a light for engine is shown and detail for this intake does not need any tune as your details.
You may have a vacuum leak. I suggest taking the CAI off and re-installing it. A clamp may be loose. Also, you should take the car to a shop to see what the code is for, in case it is in regards to something else.
hi i bought this intake but when i installation this part the is some different because my old cold air have a wire more in the middle of the intake ,, know how i could solve this problem ???.
