Unlike most carbon fiber doors, these doors feature a “dry” carbon fiber look that works to give your vehicle a more sinister appearance. On the functional side, this dry carbon fiber offers an even higher strength to weight ratio compared to standard “wet” style carbon fiber. This translates to a more competitive edge come track day.
Sturdy Build Quality. What sets these doors apart from their “wet” variant is their dry carbon fiber construction. With this method, the same high-quality resin is pre-impregnated into the fabric resulting in less of it being used. This reduction in resin keeps the weight down even more. These doors then undergo a specialized vacuum forming process, and advanced high-pressure curing method resulting in a unit with even fewer imperfections than the traditional wet method. This process also results in the doors’ “dry” matte appearance. At this point, you have the option of painted these OE-style doors to a style of your choosing, or you can leave them as is. If you go with the latter option, it’s a good idea to apply an automotive clear coat with UV-inhibitors to prevent fading.
Efficient Install Procedure. Installing these doors utilize a relatively efficient process utilizing your vehicle’s factory door as their mounting locations. These doors use OE hardware without modifications. What’s more, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete. Please note that the manufacturer recommends professional installation of this product.
Includes a 6-Month Finish Warranty Coverage. These carbon fiber doors come with a 6-month warranty coverage against manufacturing defects to its finish.
