Could I put a 2in spacer on these studs

  • You will be able to put spacers on these studs however if your car is track driven, some tracks have a policy against running wheel spacers. Please be advised and contact your local track to see if they will accept spacers with studs like these.

Would I be able to run a 1" spacer with these an just pull the studs from the spacers ? Would they be long enough?

  • most one inch spacers come with an offset that makes the studs long enough and fit so yes you may.

What is the spline count on theses studs? Mine is not a Mustang application but a 1984 Toyota 4WD and I'm looking for longer studs for the front as I have switched from steel wheels to aluminum. The truck had wheel spacers on it when I got it and they are of unknown brand/origin. The studs in the spacers have a .62 knurl with 35 splines or "valleys". The strange part is the rear studs are already long enough, only the fronts are too short. I have searched high and low for longer studs to no avail. Thanks

  • Unfortunately for the ARP Rear Wheel Stud - 0.625 in. Knurl I do not have the spline count. It does not appear on the manufacturers website either. I would recommend contacting ARP directly for the spline count.

where can i get lugs for these

  • What you would be looking for is an open-ended style lug nut to compensate for the length of the ARP Rear Wheel Stud - 0.625 in. Knurl (79-04 All)

wheel spacers Will these work for an 89 mustang with 5/16 wheel spacers?

  • The ARP Rear Wheel Stud will work with the spacers on your 1989 Mustang, however, you will want to ensure that there will be enough threads on the wheel stud to secure your wheel to the vehicle.

    To long

I bought these for my 70 maverick drag car I am building to meet required specs. ARP are the best you can buy no doubt about that. I only wish I had took some measurements instead of going off my bad memory and I would have ordered a shorter wheel stud because they are longer than I needed.

    Solid studs

To avoid any changes of breaking your studs I recommend these. You can feel the solidness in the studs versus other brands.

    ARP Rear Wheel Stud

Very strong studs, easily installed ten of these in an hour and with correct tools. Make sure and apply some yield or safecracker and they will pull up into the hub easily, as the last reviewer stated save your old lug nuts to pull up the new studs after a few uses the lug nut will be damaged, so obviously you would not want to use your new ones. Would also recommend running a die up on them to rechase the threads, over all well worth the money. I had to buy them to install the 315/35/17 wheels i bought for my 96 mustang gt, since the stock studs were to short once i put the 5/16 wheel spacers on to get the wheels off the rear shocks

    Favorite wheel studs

Pulled into my irs hubs perfectly. These same studs can be used in the front if you ream out the holes with a 39/64" drill bit/reamer. This is what maximum motorsports specs and that's what I did with these. Would definitely buy again

    Great price. No fantastic price

Running a 14' wheel on my foxbody I needed to use a spacer to bring the rear wheel out to fill the wheel well. Plus I like the look on longer studs sticking out with the added bonus of safety. These studs a much better and stronger than anything stockish. It all positive pluses switching to these. Will be running long ARP studs on front wheels as well.

    wheel studs

I have used these studs on several AC Cobra replica's due to clearance issues on brakes and wheels. I have had to use some spacers to get the wheel where it needs to be and it is always nice to have some extra treads on your studs to make sure your wheels stay attached during hard driving and racing events.

    Great Product

Installed these on my 03 Cobra with SRA. Worked out well with my 31 spline axles. They are abit long and some may have to pull the axles to install these. I was able to grind down a small area and work it in. I would recommend going very slow to work these in and be careful with impact gun!
