are the back side of these where it presses against the backing plate, cut off to allow it to fit past the exciter ring or are they completely round in the back. thank you.

    • The ARP Rear Wheel Stud will require you to press the the ABS Exciter ring off the axle, install the studs, and then press the ring back on, as the studs are completely round on the back.

Could I put a 2in spacer on these studs

    • You will be able to put spacers on these studs however if your car is track driven, some tracks have a policy against running wheel spacers. Please be advised and contact your local track to see if they will accept spacers with studs like these.

Would I be able to run a 1" spacer with these an just pull the studs from the spacers ? Would they be long enough?

    • most one inch spacers come with an offset that makes the studs long enough and fit so yes you may.

What is the spline count on theses studs? Mine is not a Mustang application but a 1984 Toyota 4WD and I'm looking for longer studs for the front as I have switched from steel wheels to aluminum. The truck had wheel spacers on it when I got it and they are of unknown brand/origin. The studs in the spacers have a .62 knurl with 35 splines or "valleys". The strange part is the rear studs are already long enough, only the fronts are too short. I have searched high and low for longer studs to no avail. Thanks

    • Unfortunately for the ARP Rear Wheel Stud - 0.625 in. Knurl I do not have the spline count. It does not appear on the manufacturers website either. I would recommend contacting ARP directly for the spline count.

where can i get lugs for these

    • What you would be looking for is an open-ended style lug nut to compensate for the length of the ARP Rear Wheel Stud - 0.625 in. Knurl (79-04 All)

      They work

I solid axle swapped my 03 cobra. Needed some longer wheel studs. these pressed into a 98 cobra solid axle no problem. Only pain was getting them passed the tone ring on the axle. I highly recommend these if your looking to upgrade wheels studs.

The studs worked almost perfectly. Only issue was that I had to trim the inside of the holes for the axle a little bit for them to fit correctly

      wheel studs

I have used these studs on several AC Cobra replica's due to clearance issues on brakes and wheels. I have had to use some spacers to get the wheel where it needs to be and it is always nice to have some extra treads on your studs to make sure your wheels stay attached during hard driving and racing events.

      Great Product

Installed these on my 03 Cobra with SRA. Worked out well with my 31 spline axles. They are abit long and some may have to pull the axles to install these. I was able to grind down a small area and work it in. I would recommend going very slow to work these in and be careful with impact gun!

      ARP always has perfect product

These wheel studs are absolutely fantastic. The only problem I have with them is that you have to drill out the holes for the knurl to fit.
