These long tube headers are engineered to provide your vehicle with enhanced performance courtesy of smooth-flowing plumbing and a specially designed collector. These factors come together to ensure exhaust gas velocity is maximized, providing your vehicle with enhancements in power and torque. This added power gives you a competitive edge on the tracks and superior acceleration on the streets.
Transformed Sound to Match Your Performance. Enhanced performance should also come with a more aggressive demeanor, and these BBK headers certainly deliver in that area. Specifically, these headers transform your exhaust note into a raspy aggressive growl that’s sure to turn heads no matter where you drive.
Deletes Factory Catalytic Converters. These long tube headers will delete your factory catalytic converters. Moreover, these headers are to be used in conjunction with BBK’s catted x-pipe. These catted x-pipes are designed to be completely compatible with these headers.
Robust Build Quality. These long tube headers are constructed from superior quality, 1.625-inch wide tubular steel. These tubes are then mandrel-bent to exact specifications before being welded. This ensures a turbulence-free inner surface that’s also extremely rigid. Additionally, their flanges are die-stamped from 0.375-inch thick steel. Lastly, these header assemblies receive a rugged Titanium Ceramic finish for exceptional corrosion protection.
ECU Re-Tune Required. Installing these headers will require you to re-tune your Mustang’s ECU. This is to make sure your engine’s performance is fully optimized with these assemblies.
No CARB EO Number. These long tube headers do not have a CARB EO number.
Application. These BBK 1-5/8-Inch Titanium Ceramic Long Tube Headers fit all 2005-2010 Ford Mustang V6 models.
