    5 Top Rated Questions

Two questions, For cruising, comfort, and occasional trips to "mexico" would the poly or rod version be better suited? Would this setup conflict with air suspension?

    • The poly version will provide much better comfort vs the added control of the rod end version. We have not tested this kit with an air suspension, however this was designed for handling with coiled metal springs and not air bags, so performance will be best with traditional springs.

08 gt/cs convertible. I removed the braces and installed sub frame connectors. Will this fit my covertible now?

    • We have not attempted to install the BMR Body Mounted Watts Link on a convertible with the braces removed. While we believe this will work, we have no way to confirm this.

I'd like to order a watts link for my 14 Mustang GT. Which one would you recommend for mainly street and occasional autocross application? Car is not a DD. Poly or spherical bushings? I'd like to keep noise/clanking as low as possible. Thanks

    • Polyurethane bushings tend to produce more noise. I suggest going with the Whiteline Complete Watts Link Rear Suspension, item # 54111, ( This Watt Link comes with synthetic elastomer bushings which reduce noise and vibration. It is also perfect for a track car.

I got a hochkis rear sway bar on my 2014 gt500. BMR watts link can be set up with my sway bar? I'm worried that those can be interfered each other.

    • We have not tested the BMR Body Mounted Watts Link kit with the Hotchkis rear sway bar, however we have found most aftermarket sway bars will clear with this setup. unfortunately we do not offer the Hotchkis sway bar, and would be unable to test this.

      Great suspension upgrade for S197

Got one of these over a year ago for my '13 GT and one for my wife's '08 GT500 ... both cars were already running Koni Sport (yellow) struts/shocks, my car was already lowered on Steeda Sport springs, the Shelby was lowered in the rear only, on Ford Racing "L" springs, so it sat almost level, with just a slight rake. Both cars handled great, we do autocross them ocasionally. The BMR Watts link added a lot of rear-end traction, we could instantly take off with more throttle during turns, no rear-end sliding around, and in turns on our favorite winding roads the cars are staying more planted, flatter and just feeling more connected and stable. An awesome upgrade, highly recommended.
