Description
Cowl Hood Styling. The race-inspired styling of Cervini’s 3-inch Cowl Induction Hood maximizes your Mustang’s hood clearance. This allows extra room for you to add equipment to supercharge your engine. The hood’s cowl features a progressive slope that smoothly transitions to its maximum height of 3-inches. This hood is suited for both street and track applications.
Lightweight Construction. This hood is constructed from lightweight fiberglass that is hand-laid to exact specifications. But this hood is no lightweight when it comes to strength. Its fully finished underside provides added strength to the hood. The underside features a gloss black gel coat that can be left as is or painted for a more custom look.
Painting Required. Cervini’s 3-Inch Cowl Induction Hood is unpainted, so it is recommended it be installed by a professional because it will require prep work and priming before painting. The hood should be pre-fitted before any finishing work is begun.
Reuses OEM Equipment. The installation of this hood will require the use of your OEM hardware, hinges and hood latch system. Your windshield fluid squirters will be relocated to underneath the new hood. Everything you need to do this, including new squirters is included with the hood.
Cervini’s Warranty. Your new hood is covered with Cervini’s limited 90-day warranty.
Application. Cervini's Unpainted 3 in. Cowl Induction Hood is designed to fit 2010-2012 Ford Mustang GT and V6 models. It will not fit 2010-2012 GT500 models.
