Description
Superior Brake Ring. The DBA 5000 Series T3 Slotted Brake Ring; Front is engineered for optimal braking performance and heat management. It is a high-quality direct replacement part designed to handle demanding street and track conditions, ensuring safer and more responsive braking.
Construction and Appearance. This brake ring features a composite two-piece design with a high carbon cast iron ring and an aerospace-grade aluminum hat made from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. The ring includes a precision machined slotted surface with a cubic boron nitride (CBN) finish to minimize disc thickness variation, alongside painted non-friction areas to prevent rust and maintain aesthetics.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no additional drilling as it is a direct replacement part. The two-piece design allows for economical replacement of individual components if needed.
Warranty. The brake ring is covered by a 12-month or 20,000-kilometre (12,000-mile) warranty.
Application. This brake ring fits the front axle of 1997-2004 Corvette C5 and 2005-2013 Corvette C6 Base models.
