The stock S197 GT Mustangs came with a respectable 300 Horsepower and 320 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but after installing a E-Force Stage 3 Professional Supercharger Tuner Kit you will be planting a ground pounding 646 Horsepower and 646 ft./lbs of Torque to the pavement (depending on custom tuning and fuel upgrades).

Tuner Kit. The Edelbrock E-Force Stage 3 Professional Supercharger system includes all of the essential components that a racer or tuner shop would need to build a custom supercharger intended for racing applications. A tuner kit provides the flexibility of choosing the correct pulley, cold air intake, or other performance parts for your specific setup and needs to create your very own supercharged Mustang. Custom dyno tuning is required for operation.

Unique Design. The heart of the E-Force Supercharger is the all new Eaton Gen VI TVS® Supercharger rotating assembly that has been integrated into the intake manifold for a seamless design with minimal components to eliminate the possibility of vacuum leaks. Edelbrock's unique inverted supercharger assembly is placed low in the valley allowing for 15" long intake runners for maximizing low end torque.

Stay Cool. Edelbrock uses the largest intercooler available. Keeping the air cool is a 110 square inch high capacity air-to-water intercooler and full face low temperature heat exchanger, making it "coolest running supercharger" on the market today.

Breathe Easier. The E-Force Stage 3 Supercharger system breathes easy through a specially designed 85mm electronic throttle body that is matched to the most efficient and unique inlet configuration on the market today for a shorter less restrictive intake path for improved air flow.

Application. This E-Force Stage 3 Professional Supercharger Tuner Kit is specifically designed for use on the 2005 to 2009 GT Mustangs equipped with the 4.6L V8 modular engine. Not legal for sale or use on pollution controlled motor vehicles, intended for competition race use only.

I have read a lot of varying opinions online about high HP gaining mods like this one and understand that key parts like the crankshaft, pistons, valves, heads, etc., are not engineered to handle increases over 450HP lasting over long periods of time (years) / '000s of miles and can shorten the life of the engine. Please comment.


What makes this kit make more power? basicallynim asking if i get one of the lower power kits after i get forged internals what makes this kit a bigger power boost? Pulley? Tune? Intercooler?


  • Hello! To get more power out of a kit, a different pulley will up the boost, giving you more horsepower.

BAMA mail tune? If I provide product details i.e. size of injectors, fuel pump specifications and additional modifications can BAMA mail me a tune that will allow me to drive approximately 1000 miles to get to a tuner?


  • Unfortunately BAMA cannot write tunes for the Edelbrock E-Force Stage 3 Professional Supercharger - Tuner Kit (05-09 GT), or any aftermarket supercharger for that matter. BAMA's focus is almost entirely on naturally aspirated applications.

No other engine mods are needed? I do not need to replace the stock pistons, rods, or cams?


  • Our stock internals are only good to about 450 hp or so before things start to go boom. If you purchase this tuner, or build it yourself, kit you will need to purchase pretty much everything that is included in the stage 2 kit. Injectors, cold air intake or use your stock air filter with an upgraded mass airflow meter, dual fuel pump, higher hp rated spark plugs, a 2.75 inch pulley etc etc.. The difference being that you can chose your own brands and quality. Over 450 hp will require rods and pistons at least, our stock cranks are only good to about 600 hp, you might consider a forged rotating assembly if you wish to go with the stage 3 tuner kit. Then there is our stock tr-3650 transmissions, which are only rated to 350 ft/lbs of torque, pushing over 600 horse on the tr-3650 would be asking for trouble. American Muscle sells the Tremec T-56 Magnum XL transmission that will bolt right up to the 4.6 3v engine with the addition of an upgraded 26 spline clutch and 1 piece driveshaft, and is rated at 700 ft/lbs of torque.

    Good kit

    I was amazed at how well this kit was put together. It had everything in it and the directions were super easy to follow. Took a friend and I about 8 hours to install. There is even a special tool included to remove the pulley off the alternator, it's just a really good kit. It goes in for the dyno tune in 2 days and I'm expecting some really good numbers.
