Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler; 3-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet is engineered to deliver an aggressive sound tone, perfect for street and strip applications. It enhances exhaust scavenging, improving engine performance, while producing a milder interior sound compared to standard models.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features a fully MIG welded body for long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance. It is finished with high-temperature black paint that offers both style and protection against heat and environmental elements.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with slip-fit connections for both the inlet and outlets, requiring no drilling. The muffler uses new hangers, which are not included. Flexible mounting options are provided by both clamp-on and weld-on inlet types.
Application. This muffler fits universal applications but may require some adaptation for proper fitment. It is suitable for a wide variety of vehicles including classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks with 4 or 6 cylinder engines.
