Review & Installation Video

Review & Install Video

Hi, I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com and I’m checking out these Bullitt style pedal covers for all 94-04 Mustangs. As you’re probably aware the stock pedals are certainly not designed to give you any style points, they’re boring, ugly, and chances are could probably use a little TLC. That’s where these really shine, the pedal covers give your interior an instant boost in bravado and character, drawing on inspiration from the 2001 Bullitt. These pedals were designed to factory specs using OEM quality materials. Now the install can prove slightly difficult but with a little patience, and a little help from our customer review section, you’ll have these on in no time. Now depending on your car you’ll either need to order the automatic set which includes the gas, brake, and dead pedal, like we have installed on our V6 back there, or you’ll need to order the manual set which includes the gas, brake, clutch, and dead pedal. For the install you’ll want to start by removing your factory dead pedal, you actually want to pry it out of there, don’t be shy, you might actually break the two clips that hold it into place, but don’t worry about it, you’re not going to reuse them anyway. After that reinstall the Bullitt dead pedal, and snap it into place using your foot. As for the brake and clutch pedal a lot of you guys on the site have recommended soaking the rubber inserts in hot or boiling water for a few minutes to soften the rubber up, thus making the install a lot easier. Now when it comes time to install the accelerator it might be a little bit more difficult but not that bad, if you need a little help simply follow along with the video, or reference the install instructions on this page. Install itself should take you about 30 minutes but if it takes you a little bit more, don’t worry about it, the important thing is you get everything done right. In the end these pedal covers are a great inexpensive way to upgrade the interior of your Mustang giving it a much cleaner, sportier appearance, and they can be found right here at AmericanMuscle.com.

Race Inspired Styling. Now you can ditch those ugly stock rubber pedal covers and replace them with a set of Bullitt styled pedals from AmericanMuscle for a race inspired custom interior.

OEM Quality. Made from high quality OEM materials to the original factory specifications, these Mustang Pedal Covers look and feel just like the ones that were originally only available in the 2001 Bullitt Mustangs.

Installation. This set of three (3) Bullitt Style Pedal Covers can be easily and quickly installed. The Brake Pedal Cover features a simple slip-on installation, the Accelerator Cover is held on by a metal pin, and the included Dead Pedal easily snaps in place with two clips.

Application. These Bullitt Style Pedal Covers is designed to all 1994 to 2004 Mustangs with an automatic transmission, including the V6, GT and Mach 1 models.

Won't make you Stang go faster but looks great. Installation was easy, Didn't boil the pedal, just used a little elbow grease. Note, gas pedal is a half inch or so taller than stock which gives it better pedal feel. Did the pedal mod in addition and the throttle feels alot better.

    Bullitt Pedals = Cool

The Bullitt style pedals I ordered are really cool. I have already gotten many compliments and they really suit my Mustang. The brake and foot rest pedals were an easy install, but the accelerator was more challenging, mainly because the accelerator pedal arm had to be removed and disconnected from the throttle cable to remove and replace the pin holding the pedal. With patience and perseverance, I completed the task and those pedals look and work great.

    My Billet Pedal Covers

The gas pedal was the hardest of all...had to use a c-clamp and a socket to push the pin all the way through, but worked out well...The brake pedal was not bad at all to install, had to use a little elbow grease, but went on in about 5-minutes..The dead pedal was a snap. They really look great now that they are installed...P.S. I used a bolt in place of the pin on the gas pedal..works great...Thx AM

    Bullitt Pedal Covers

Very subtle and nice upgrade to the interior. Dead pedal and accelerator pedal are not hard at all to install. However the brake pedal is a huge pain. Some patience is definitely needed. Overall, very happy.

    Pedal covers

Look great, feel great, love them. Easy to install and didn't have to take the accelerator off. Just use a c-clamp and socket to push out the pin. Slice a slit in a couple corners of the brake cover, goes right on.

    GREAT PRODUCT

Another great product from AM!!! Looks good and install wasn't to bad. Recommend cutting small slits in the corners of the brake pedal to get it on easier and also you do not need to take the accelerator pedal completely off, I was able to install the new one by just taking off the two bolts mentioned in the video.

    Awesome Look

You will love these pedals. I didn't have any problems with the brake pedal, didn't have to heat it or anything, just takes a little pulling with your fingers and it pops right on. But DO NOT try to get the pin on the gas pedal on or off without a vice! That was the only pain of installing these. OH, and do yourself a favor and do the pedal mod for your gas pedal at the same time. WAY better feel!

    Great product

Complete pain to install but well worth it, look great. Found it to be VERY helpful to take a razor blade and slit the 4 corners of the rubber on the brake pad when you go to install that one, makes it SO much easier

    Slick

Pedals are a simple easy install that can really add to the overall feel. These pedals look sweet when they are installed. Worth some cash and it could just be me, but my feet seem to slide less compared to the original pedals.

    They look better

The dead pedal was easy to install. The brake pedal was time consuming and strenuous. I still haven't installed the accelerator pedal cause I'm not sure how to do it. Ill get to it at some point

    Swear words and cramped spaces.

These pedals look amazing. Huge upgrade from the standard rubber/plastic pedals covers that come standard! Dead pedal takes about 30 seconds to pop out and replace, but the brake and gas pedals put up a fight. Be prepared to get tricky with them, but once they are in they look fantastic!

    Very subtle yet wonderful upgrade

Shipping from AM was super quick as always. Getting the dead petal and accelorator petal was a cakewalk and the brake wasn't all that bad. I ended up cutting at each corner halfway to separate the sides so I could get it on but it wasn't too hard with a bit of elbow grease and patience. Definitely noticable every time I open the door and was a great addition to the interior. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a cheap yet worthwhile weekend project to undergo.
