If these are powder coated like they say , why are the reviews saying they chip easy and scratch and paint wears off? I'm wanting to purchase these but not if there gonna look bad after I put them on .

  • It is not normal for these pedal covers to have paint or chip wear, I do see the 2 poor reviews in state of that but it is not a normal occurrence.

    Don't buy

Waste of money , paint chips almost instantly and will scratch just from dirt on your shoes. Very cheap , go with polished look if anything nothing painted.

    Nice replacement

Looks good, install was not too bad, only complaint is the blue started to chip off a little in manipulating the brake pad. If i could do it over I would have went with the satin look.

    Pedal Covers

These pedal covers look sick and compliment my black and red theme very well. In just a matter of days these arrived and got them installed in no more than 5 minutes. Highly recommend if you want to add an aggressive look to the interior of your 'stang.

    Blue Bullitt Style Covers

These covers definitely added a good look to my mustang. I love the blue color to go with the blue of mustangs paint job it matches wonderfully. I would recommend these to anyone to replace the standard pedals.

    Perfect

The pedals are great. Do place them in boiling water, much easier to install. Nice look over stock black pedals.

Review from Bullitt Style Pedal Covers - Blue (94-04 w/ Automatic Transmission)

    Not just for Mustang anymore

Since the Taurus/Sable share many parts with the Mustang and are interchangeable-just as the old Mustang and Cougar were-I thought I would try this on my Sable. With some planning and Mcgyverisms I was able to get all but the accelerator pedal to work-but I haven't given up on that yet either. I'll let you know if/when I figure out a way to do that.

Review from Bullitt Style Pedal Covers - Blue (94-04 w/ Automatic Transmission)

    Great Look, Arrived Slightly Damaged

I purchased these pedal covers on Sept. 1, I got them pretty quickly. I finally had the chance to install them this past weekend and while they look great and seem to be of good quality the plastic piece on the back of accelerator pedal was damaged. I was able to install the dead pedal cover and the brake pedal cover without issue. But the circular hole where the pin goes through to hold the accelerator pedal tight was broken. I had to use it anyway since my old pedal was damaged when I bought the car. I am currently using some silicone over the pinhole and while the pedal is somewhat loose it'll have to do. I cannot justify repurchasing a whole set for $50 when once small piece was broken on arrival. If the piece in question arrived in good shape the review would've been 5 stars, the pedals look great and feel durable otherwise. Just a heads up to anyone who may look to add these to a 1998 Mustang, getting the pin out of the accelerator pedal can be a bit of a pain. Be careful as there is a lot of plastic involved. Try to use your channel lock/pliers on the metal part of the pedal to squeeze out that pin.

    Cheap red pedals

I didn't even finish installing them because the first pedal started chipping so I took it off.

    Peddle covers

The peddle covers really accent the interior well, also to I notice every time I submit picture AM seems to copy my style , in top of it all I don't even get a thank you for my style that AM seems to copy. Despite that AM still rocks.
