Upgrade OEM Gears. Are you looking to upgrade to a stronger set of rear gears? Then look no further than installing a set of genuine Ford Racing Gears in your Pony. Ford Racing Ring and Pinion Gears are perfect for street, road, and race applications.

Superior Quality. Manufactured in the USA, these Ford Racing Mustang ring and pinion gears feature a super strong forged construction, CNC cut & lapped gear teeth, and are completed in a black oxide finish to resist corrosion.

Application. This Ford Racing Ring and Pinion Gear set will fit all 2010 to 2014 GT Mustangs. A master bearing kit is recommended by most installers, especially on high mileage vehicles, see drop down option above.

Attention 2010 and newer Mustang Owners. Starting in 2010 Ford changed the inner rear gear pinion bearing in all 8.8" equipped Mustangs. Because of this you will require a new 8.8" rear gear pinion bearing (Ford part# 9L3Z-4630-A) for proper installation, please see drop down option above.

Technical Note. Installation costs will vary, but a good rule of thumb is between $250 and $300. Be sure to work with a reliable shop that you trust for installations. You can also save money on your installation labor by having your Trac-Lok rebuilt at the same time as your gears are installed, see drop down option above.

            Gears for supercharged coyote.

Had 3.73 in my coyote and then went with a Paxton's. 3.73s are pretty aggressive for a 6r80 street car to begin with so I opted for these. Exactly what u would expect from OEM performance. Barely had to move any shims and the power is much more usable. I had plenty of time on my hands and access to machine shop measurement devices. Having a shop do some or part of this wouldn't be a bad idea considering the cost of some of the tools needed.

            Works great

The Ford Racing gears are as good/better as any out there. Had installed professionally and there zero issue. 3:31 is great for a roots style blower car with 6r80.

            3.31 gears

These gears are great with my Roush charged 13 gt. I had 3.73 gears and I would have to shift @7600 to stay in fourth in the 1/4. Now I can shift @7200 and I get better trection.

            Great Product

Well machined product. Ford Racing box is too fragile for a such heavy's component and a long travel til France .... There is always a little in rear axle noise, but i think it's certainly an adjustment to make

Go to a professional installer or Ford High performance dealer

Always check the codes on your car - standard Ford factory specs sometimes limit gear choices unless you go with an after market tuner. First set of gears were cut wrong (defective on the coast side) of the gear, whined like a Bobcat. So most of the day was a total waste. Second set worked like a charm. Highlight of the story, dealer covered all the extra time and expense and included a rental car for the day. I was told that this rarely happens, but it happened to me, So the little extra expense to pay the dealer paid off big time in this case. Choose your dealer or installer wisely, I am fortunate to have a High Performance Ford dealer in my area. Besides having high confidence in the dealer, I went there to keep the warranty valid.

Gears went on great. But after 50k hard miles i had missing chunks from my spider gears.

            good all around gear

this is for the guys that are putting power adders on their 3.73 cars and find that 3.73 gearing way to short. im running a 295/55/15 tire and these 3.31 gears. makes for good long gears for building boost on turbo mustangs.
