Perfect fit!

The old dipstick was a pain to remove but this new dipstick went in snuggly and I have had no leaks/problems. It's way easier to install without the manifold in though.

How do I remove that part?

  • You should be able to pull the dip stick tube off the block. It is simply pressed in place.

Will this dipstick tube fit a Romeo block or Windsor block? They are different and Mustang came with both engines 99-04.

  • Hi, This Ford Engine Oil Dip Stick Tube will fit on both Romeo and Windsor blocks but you will need to slightly bend the tube to make it fit depending which block you have and if you have aftermarket heads

AM saved me when Ford couldn't

I recently dropped a new engine in my car and found out that this is 1 of at least 4 parts that Ford has obsoleted for the Mustang. Fit was perfect no issues slipped right in. Thank you AM for having the correct parts at a great price.
