Improves Exhaust Flow. Ford actually did a nice job on the stock Catalytic Converters, but the stock H-pipe could use some improvement. That's where the Ford Racing Clamp On X-Pipe comes into play. Designed to balance out the exhaust gas pressure in your system, this X-pipe will help improve exhaust flow for more power and sound.

Reuses Stock Cats. The installation of the Ford Racing Clamp On X-pipe does not require any cutting or welding, it just installs in place of the stock H-pipe, using your stock clamps. And best of all it reuses the factory catalytic converters saving you money.

Quality Materials. Constructed from sturdy 2.75" mandrel bent T-409 Stainless Steel tubing the Clamp On X-Pipe will improve exhaust flow and last a lifetime.

Application. This Ford Racing Clamp On X-Pipe is a specifically designed for use on the 2011-2014 GT Mustangs with the Coyote 5.0L engine.

            Entirely different tone now.

I may have gained a few ponies with the X-pipe, but the sound is totally different from the stock H-pipe..in fact I think it is actually quieter than the H-pipe. I am getting used to it, but I think I may revert back....I would have expected a louder sound, but not the case.

            X-Pipe

Pipe looked and fit great, easy install. Might be a little louder and definitely improved the exhaust note of the Roush axle-back while making it much less raspy. Its a much smoother and more refined sound. Highly reccomend

            Sounds deep

Was sceptical at first because it's a "ford performance" part. Gave my car a nice deep sound and picked up a couple hp's on the dyno. A great buy.

Sounds better, better throttle response and installation was not bad. Had a little trouble with corroded factory clamps and had to buy new ones.

            Fitment Issues

The pipes are either not welded together correctly or not bent correctly. Connecting to the rest of the mid-pipe with the dual band clamps was no problem at all. This product did not want to bolt up smoothly to the cats and was off by about 1/2". I was able to force it on but still not really happy with it as I had to use a ratchet strap to get them to line up. Something else probably does fit better.

            Simple Mod Good Power Gain

I own a 2014 Mustang GT 6 speed and was hesistant to purchase a mid pipe because of other reviews of fitment issues, but purchased it anyway. I work in a service shop so access to a lift was there and took me 15-20 min to do the swap. Surprisingly I did not experience any of the fitment issues on the front legs of this mid pipe. The power gains r definitely noticeable the car feels smoother, revs a little quicker and the power from 2500 to red line is felt. There is a huge difference from the factory H to the FRPP X pipe don’t know why ford choked down the factory pipe. To close out my review definitely worth the money for the decent power gains. I have the Bassani axle backs with the factory H I had a lot of drone and they sounded deep with the X pipe there’s a sweet spot where I can’t hear the exhaust and now it sounds more refined the time is not as deep and the drone is non existent.

            Ford Performance X-Pipe

Increased throttle response combined with that big V8 growl makes this a perfect addition for your Mustang. It takes the exhaust note from being a little too tinny and raspy to a deeper register reminiscent of old school V8's. Perfect fit of course because it is from Ford Performance.

            Great mod for the price

This x pipe is awesome! You will need an exhaust to notice a difference in sound and it sounds amazing. Very quick to put on and great tone.

            Good pipe, bad fit

I am only giving 3 stars because of the fit, if not for that it would be a 5 star rating. The wide end of the pipe was between 1/8 and 1/4 inches too narrow to match up with my stock cats. I had to reinstall the factory H pipe and take it to a shop with a bender. Once it was installed it was great. I like the way it sounds with my GT 500 mufflers and the car seems to run more smoothly with this X pipe. It is 2.75" all the way through while the factory H pipe necked down to 2.25" in the middle. Car is slightly quieter at idle and at low rpm, slightly louder at WOT once you get the revs up. I actually like the sound better than before and I did not think I would. Its not loud though, remove the resonators if you get this pipe and want more volume. The price is good for what you get if you don't have to take it to a shop like I did.

x-mid pipe was well worth the trouble

i some difficulty removing the bolts on the front clamps but other than that i am well satisfied with this purchase. i believe the exhaust is performing better, better flow, and it quieted the overall sound as well. i got rid of the annoying popping during deceleration too.

Easy install but sounds the same

I was hesitant to purchase this with everyone stating they were having fitment problems. I took this pipe to local muffler shop, they did it in 35-40 minutes flat it was a quick easy install no fitment issues and no leakage like I had with pypes, but I barely can heat a sound difference. Throttle seems smoother though

Great price. Good fitment. Monstrous sound!

This X pipe is not for the faint of heart. I'm running the Roush Axleback Exhaust on my 13 GT with the Ford Racing X Pipe and LORD, this exhaust setup sounds like thunder and lightning. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for an exhaust that can be mild at cruise, but brutally loud when you give it gas.

            Fits like a glove!

I can't say much about the sound difference, since I installed this along with an MBRP Street stainless cat-back system. The combination of the two components sounds great, with no drone and a hint of rasp under load, just as I wanted. I will say that it fit like a glove and sealed up good 'n tight - looks like Ford Racing may have addressed the fitment problems. The welds on the x-pipe aren't the prettiest I've seen, so we'll see how it holds up over time. I wanted a full stainless system, and this was the most cost effective option. Overall very satisfied.
