The Ford Racing Adjustable Panhard Bar with Urethane Bushings keeps the rear axle located in the correct position under the rear of the car to dramatically improving traction, cornering and to reduce wheel hop. Ideal for street or track use.

      FR500S and BOSS302 Original Equipment. Originally designed for the extreme demands of the FR500S and BOSS302 R1 race cars this Ford Racing Adjustable Panhard Bar is a direct bolt-on upgrade replacement for all S197 Mustang.

      On Car Adjustable. You can easily fine tune your suspension with the Ford Racing Panhard bar installed on your Mustang just by turning a wrench, no need to remove it to make adjustments.

        Ford performance Panhard Bsr

        Got this as a gift from a buddy who bought it at AM Installation simple, use plenty of grease and don't forget to loosen the top bolt on passenger side above the stock bar . Whoever sent in the illustration installation instructions, I cant thank you enough, especially for the adjustment tips. With the adjustment screws on drivers side, go towards the engine to bring the passenger side out more, towards the back of car to bring drivers side out more.

        5 2011 GT500 - LeeH Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        A must have upgrade for any live axle Mustang.

        One of the first things I noticed about my 2011 GT500 was how much the rear end would move when driving over bumps, it was unnerving to say the least. After a bit of research, I decided that an upgraded panhard bar was the first mod I should try to correct the issue. It worked! Not only that, but the Ford Performance bar is lighter than stock (which is filled with lead shot for NVH). I would recommend this bar as great first upgrade, and you can't go wrong with the quality of a Ford Performance part. Super easy install, I backed the car up my race ramps, and had the bar installed, using only hand tools, in about 20 minutes.

        Ford adjustable panhard bar review install

        Easy to install, easy to adjust, BUT a packet of the special grease should be made available to lube the bushings. I couldn't find anywhere on the American Muscle website where the special grease could be purchased.

        5 2012 Boss - JohnK Installation Time: Afternoon

        Easy Install

        Overall install easy, the passenger side lock-nut was on really tight (someone must of had a few bowls of wheaties when they assembled it). Make sure the adjustment is on the low side (driver side), and use a silicon grease or dry graphite for the bushings. After your done adjusting for center-line, it is a good idea to take and have the vehicle aligned. It took about ans hour and a half to install and set center-line, that was taking my time. Traction is a lot better coming out of corners now.

        For that perfect wheel alignment!

        This panhard bar and lowering springs are a must. You will get that perfect thrust angle every time. This also centers the rear axle perfectly. My alignment was greatly improved with this. One you add this you should never need to replace it again.

      Hello, 2012 GT Manual here. I am buying some upper and lower control arms for the back, to help my launch. I am keeping the stock suspension and am NOT lowering my car. Is this panhard bar going to help with anything? Is it worth buying if I am keep my stock springs? Thank you in advance!

      • If you are not lowering the car the Panhard bar will not really help much with launching.
