Hey everyone. Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com, here with my review of the Ford Racing by Borla Touring axle-back exhaust system, fitting your 2015 and up Fastback GT. This is one of the two offerings from Ford Racing by Borla for your S550 GT, and this is going to be the milder option of the two, with the Ford Racing by Borla Sport being a little bit louder. While this is one of the milder options that's on the market for the 2015 and up, what I really like about this axle-back is the deepness of the tone. This axle-back doesn't get raspy in the higher RPMs, like some of the other options tend to, and that's a really good thing, in my opinion. But it really all depends on what you're looking for. This system gives more of that classic muscle car sound, and it will still no doubt turn heads. So on a scale of one to five, with five being your neighbors are constantly complaining every time you drive by, I would give the Ford Racing by Borla Touring a strong two in terms of overall loudness, and especially since, with the axle-back, you're keeping your factory resonator. This is definitely not the loudest system out there, but it is one of the best sounding in my opinion. It has a really nice pitch to it, making it sound more aggressive and powerful to me, and it's not as obnoxious from the inside of the car, either. If you're going for straight up volume, then American Muscle does have all other options on the site for you, such as the Borla ATAK. This system does feature two and a half inch stainless steel tubing, which is perfect for daily drivers and lightly modified street cars. Obviously, Ford Racing and Borla are legendary for their quality, and as such, they're at a premium with their price point. Now, they're not the highest priced out there, but we all know that if you want a quality product, you have to pay for it. And with the sound of your Mustang being one of the most important aspects of the car, I tend to lean towards buying quality here, personally. When it comes to the install, I'm going to call this a two out of three wrenches on the scale, solely due to the cutting that we all know is required with the install of a 2015 axle-back. But don't let this scare you away from this system. You just need to have a fresh Sawzall blade and some eye protection, and the patience to measure what it will be cutting. The axle-back should bolt up in an hour or two, tops.I really like the Ford Racing by Borla Touring axle-back, and while it has a higher price point, it's totally worth it, especially when you remember that you're getting the build and quality that comes along with names like Borla and Ford Racing.
