Had a engine light on for my engine running lean, was told this would fix it but the light came back on within the next week. I’ve had the part installed the past 6 months with my call light still on. I experienced not ONE change in any aspect of my car. Waste of my moneyHelpful (6)

It's an MAF
Bought this pretty much just to have a new baseline and potentially more accurate monitoring while i set the stage for future induction upgrades. I have yet to notice any particular changes in performance or otherwise. Does what it is supposed to. Four stars until i get around to seeing how well it handles a force inducted system.Helpful (5)

Got this more for curiosity sake due to my car's OEM FoMoCo MAF sensor has never been replaced (has 144,000 mi on it...I cleaned it a couple of times during this time frame) and due to it being calibrated by GMS I wanted to see if any difference would show up. Took MAF readings from scan tool prior....OEM MAF read 5.14 g\s at full hot idle (Ford Racing Bullit 85mm CAI). Shut down, pulled OEM MAF sensor and installed GMS MAF sensor and started up fine. Allowed engine to go thru warmup to reach full hot idle then read scan tool.....GMS MAF read 5.75 g\s so gained .64 g\s air mass which dropped LTFT's a full 1 lean command on both banks (running slightly rich at idle but well within 10 of stoichometric 0 LTFT's w\ both STFT's switching across 0 using stock OEM tune at the moment). Took a test drive....all running normally w\ a very smooth idle. To make some pulls later to really see if any power changes. So far all is well and GMS MAF sensor is operating fine.Helpful (10)

Honestly I didn't think this GMS senor would do much but I'm a little bit surprised. It preformed better then I thought it would. Arguable one of the easiest mods you can ever do to your car and for a little over 200 dollars, I believe its worth it.Helpful (9)
How long is the warranty on this MAF ???
The Calibrated High Performance Slot-Style MAF Meter / Sensor is covered under a 90-Day Manufacture warranty.
I have several mods including CAI, throttle body, intake manifold, headers, X pipes, cams, and axle backs. All topped off with a Bama Tune. Will this MAF stop the pegging and allow my car to breathe the way I had hoped? I noticed a couple of the other MAF's mentioned pegging and rev limiting.
The GMS High Performance Slot-Style MAF Meter / Sensor - Calibrated (05-10 GT) will definitely eliminate the pegging because it is calibrated for a higher air flow. The factory MAF is only calibrated for a certain amount of airflow, that is why it will start to peg after some modifications have been done. This GMS MAF will help you get rid of that while freeing up some power.
Will this work on a supercharged Saleen?
What is the difference between this product and the JET 69190?
Both are MAF sensors and generally will function all in the same way which is to help boost performance and fuel mileage. Depending on the manufacturer, the design may be slightly different, but the overall function will be the same.
So because Bama cannot create a tune for the MAF, does it hurt to put it on anyway after you already have a Bama Tune?
We would not recommend this as this was designed for use with the stock factory setup only.
This will work with your set up yes.
If your car is pinging and throwing lean codes, we suggest correcting these issues first before upgrading additional parts, as sometimes this can compound issues. The GMS High Performance Slot-Style MAF Meter is not designed to correct pinging, throttle response or a lean condition caused by another issue such as a tune or mechanical issue.
We are unaware as to why GMS does not have any available for your make model and year at this point in time. We are unaware as to any modificationsthat could allow for these to work with your vehicle.
The GMS High Performance Slot-Style MAF Meter will work with your existing setup, however gains would be minimal, and with a dyno tune, you would want to have the car checked to ensure the new MAF readings are not effecting the way this was tuned.
The GMS High-Performance Slot-Style MAF Meter / Sensor will give you some more performance gains yes.
This GMS High Performance Slot-Style MAF Meter / Sensor is calibrated and does not require a tune. We highly recommend a tune, especially if your vehicle is not stock. Unfortunately, Bama Performance cannot tune for larger MAF meters, we apologize.
Hello! The GMS High Performance Slot-Style MAF Meter / Sensor will work for your setup.
This will not work in a V6 Mustang since this pre-calibrated. It is pre-calibrated to the GT model Mustangs which have different calibration codes that are not compliant with the V6 codes.
I suggest going with an OEM MAF sensor. This GMS sensor will simply stop the pegging when there is to much air flow. It may not help your issue. I recommend taking the car to the shop and having them diagnose the exact issue before purchasing any other sensors.
The GMS High Performance Slot-Style MAF Meter / Sensor - Calibrated is actually designed to run on your factory tune. Unfortunately, Bama cannot tune for this Sensor. If you were to go back to your stock tune and install this Calibrated MAF, you will certainly see some performance gains.
