Description
Even More Horsepower and Torque. Upgrade your Mustang 2015-2017 GT with HMS Short Ram Cold Air and Heat Shield to increase horsepower by 18 WHP and increase torque by 22 ft/lb. The HMS Heat Shield maximizes Cool Air Intake by stopping the engine heat where it starts. HMS engineered this Polished Short Ram Air Intake as an OEM replacement so no modifications are needed to install.
Durable Construction. This HPS Cold Air Intake with a polished finish features a Free flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tubing induction system that produces dyno proven performance gains, horsepower, torque, and throttle response while maintaining a safe air fuel ratio.
HPS Air Filter. The HPS uses an HPS conical air filter that has more surface area and dust capacity than stock filters. The Cool Air Intake is only limited by the size of your GT’s air box. The installation will not trigger the CEL light and does not require a tune-up.
No Tune Required. This HPS Short Ram Cold Air Intake is designed to improve the performance of your coyote powered GT without the need of reprogramming your Mustang computer. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanMuscle recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Simple Installation. HPS designed this Cold Air Intake and Heatshield to be installed easily with the use of basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for installation.
Not CARB Certified. This HPS Cold Air Intake is not CARB certified at this time, therefore it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; intended for off road use only.
Application. This polished HPS Short Ram Cold Air Intake with Heat Shield is specifically designed for use on 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT Models.
