Description
Increased Horsepower and Torque. Get more out of your Chevrolet Camaro with these JBA 1-5/8-Inch Shorty Headers; Natural. Featuring an unrestricted design, these headers significantly increase exhaust flow, which results in greater power and torque. This allows you to push your performance car more aggressively in high-intensity driving situations.
Aggressive Exhaust Tone. These Shorty Headers feature 1.75-inch diameter primary tubes that are designed to provide a more efficient exhaust flow. This promotes better exhaust flow, which gives your muscle car a slightly beefier exhaust sound.
Retains Factory Catalytic Converters. These Shorty Headers come with OE-style emission connections and work with your Camaro’s exhaust components, including the mid-pipe and catalytic converters. This lets you install them without worrying about violating any emission regulations.
Heavy-Duty Quality. The construction of these headers guarantees reliable performance that outlasts other headers. They are made from 1.75-inch diameter, 16-gauge 409 stainless steel for maximum durability. These headers are also mandrel-bent for smoother exhaust flow and consistent tubing diameter. Finally, these headers feature JBL’s patented Firecone merge collectors for maximum toughness.
Natural Finish. These Headers feature a corrosion-resistant natural finish. AmericanMuscle recommends applying high-temperature paint or other coatings on these headers to ensure longer-lasting performance.
Tuning Required. The use of these Shorty Headers requires reprogramming your vehicle’s (ECU) for operation. This allows you to take advantage of the full potential of these headers.
CARB-Approved. To ensure satisfaction and worry-free application, these Shorty Headers are 50-state smog legal under CARB E.O. number D-57-33. As such, they may be used on pollution-controlled vehicles.
