Description
Outstanding Handling Performance. Upgrading your rear lower control arms is a great way to improve your Mustang’s traction and handling performance. As far as control arm upgrades go, you can’t do better than these J&M Street Weight Jack Rear Lower Control Arms in Red. These rear lower control arms’ high-strength tubular steel construction makes these assemblies more structurally rigid when compared to the factory counterparts. This factor gives you more solid handling feel with a significant increase in traction.
On-Vehicle Adjustable. These J&M Street Weight Jack rear lower control arms are also height-adjustable via a spring perch that you can raise or lower. This design lets you fine-tune your suspension setup so you get the best handling for your application. What’s more, these adjustable perch require just a torque wrench to adjust.
Specialty Ball Bushing System. These rear lower control arms are also equipped with a specialty 3-part ball bushing system. This system allows the control arms to roll in a way similar to a ball bearing. This extra articulation works to give you improved traction, particularly when cornering.
High-Strength Build Quality. These rear lower control arms start as high-quality 2-inch wide steel tubes, making them extremely strong while relatively lightweight when compared to the stamped steel factory arms. These steel tubes are then CNC-cut and formed before undergoing an advanced pulse welding process to give you a pair of rigid assemblies that fit your ride like a glove. The ball bushings for their part are molded from premium polyurethane for superior durability and resistance to deterioration. Lastly, these assemblies are finished in a rugged powder coating, giving them their distinct look and maximum corrosion protection.
Convenient Install Procedure. These rear lower control arm assemblies are designed to conveniently replace your factory counterparts without the need for modifications. That said you will first need to assemble and grease the ball bushings before attaching these to the control arms. Also, it is highly recommended that you use PTFE grease to lubricate the ball bushings.
