This cold air intake is engineered to deliver large amounts of cold air efficiently into your engine making sure your fuel is completely combusted. Likewise, the included air filter offers exceptional filtration ensuring your engine is contaminant-free. These factors combine to raise your ride’s power and torque numbers while keeping your engine protected.
ECU Re-Tuning Not Needed. This cold air intake provides its performance gains courtesy of advanced free-flowing design and does not need an ECU re-tune. That being said, an ECU re-tune in the future will always be beneficial for your Mustang as this will maximize the intake's performance potential.
High-Performance Oiled Air Filter. This cold air intake features a high-performance oiled air filter designed for maximum filtration efficiency and unhindered air flow. This is achieved courtesy of a specialized oiled filter media that utilizes multiple layers of cotton gauze. This filter requires maintenance only after 100,000 miles, saving you time and effort. And when it’s time for maintenance, this is easily done using an appropriate filter cleaning kit before recharging with filter oil.
Hefty Build Quality. The cold air intake features an intake tube made from high-density polyethylene using an advanced roto-molding process. This process eliminates any turbulence-generating areas from its inner structure. Meanwhile, the included heat shield is precision-formed from high-grade alloy to provide the air filter with excellent protection against engine bay heat. Rounding out its design is a sleek black finish that adds a stylish look to your engine bay.
Straightforward Install Procedure. The cold air intake utilizes your Mustang’s factory air system location as its mounting area. No modifications to your vehicle are needed. Also, all necessary mounting hardware is included for convenience.
