MGP conducted numerous tests which showed that the covers actually act as heat sinks, drawing heat away from the calipers. This results in cooler temperatures by at least 30° to 50°F. Thus, the calipers and other brake components are shielded against extreme heat and lower the risks of brake fade.

Each piece of cover is CNC-machined, TIG-welded, and hydraulically-formed to ensure lightweight but durable quality.
