Installation Time: Afternoon

Great Product, looks good and fuctions well; Instruction left out.
You will like the Product, once installed and I hope to save you a headache or two in the installation process. The bolt-on hardware goes in place nicely following the installation flier. When you attempt to, just pop on the struts, they don't (at least on my product). You can use lubricant, use a rubber mallet and still they just won't "pop" on. Here is what MMD left out and the manufacturer recommends. Each strut has two retaining springs, one each end. Take them out by using you fingernail to ply them open and then slide out all these retainers (They are small, don't lose them). Now the struts will just pop into place easily. Once installed, replace the retainer clips by sliding them into their original holes and rotating back over the shaft. They are small and it's tricky to handle with struts in place, but it works. Viola! You're done.
Now, how to avoid stupid . . . take it from an expert. Before removing the fender and hood bolts in the first steps, cover the recesses of your engine compartment with a cloth leaving no place for a dropped bolt to fall. I did not, dropped a hood bold and it went between the fender and the battery and came to rest below the battery box. Yep, I had to remove the battery and the battery box to get it adding about an hour and a half of unnecessary work. Now that was stupid, indeed and the air was blue for awhile! Don't repeat my error.
