I have a few Bolt ons would I have to do anything to do a 150 shot on a 2003 mach 1?
The motors can handle 150 shot however, that would be putting a lot of stress on the motor, and we would not recommend it. With proper tuning a 100 shot of nitrous would be a much safer and reliable option.
Have been looking at this kit among others. But looking at the plate being a single bore. Where the stock throttle body is a dual bore. My engine has quite a few upgrades as well, among them is 56052 dual 65mm throttle body. Does this plate work for the dual bore throttle bodies? and additional to the window switch and bottle heater what else would be needed or recommended? i.e. pressure gauge, wideband, purge
The Nitrous Express Nitrous Kit is designed to work with both single and twin bore throttle bodies. In addition to a window switch and bottle heater, we do recommend a purge system to keep the system consistent. A pressure gauge is useful to monitor the amount of nitrous remaining as well as to determine of the bottle is getting too hot.
I have a 99 cobra with a Bassani off-road x-pipe, Magnaflow catback, and JLT Ram Air Intake. What other mods will I have to do (if any) to run a 100 shot safely? And what is a safe shot with the current mods I have now? And what are the risks of running a 100 shot of nitrous?
The Nitrous Express Nitrous Kit - Plate System is an awesome way to pick up some serious or mild power! Generally a 100 shot of nitrous is safe for your motor. This will put a little more ware and tare on the motor over time and may require you to change out your spark plugs. I would also recommend a fuel pressure cutoff switch, an MSD Digital Window Switch Item# 525001 (http://www.americanmuscle.com/msd-digital-window-switch.html), and a Nitrous Express Bottle Heater Item# 25008 (http://www.americanmuscle.com/nx-bottle-warmer-kit.html), to pair up with this Kit to help make it a little safer and get the most performance out of it. Will the NX plate fit a Whipple 2.9 or does this only fit the Eaton superchargers?
It's all is based on throttle body,,,twin or single port...the photo shows a single port ..the size of the supercharger won't matter....it's the throttle body.
Would this system be an air flow restriction if you have a BBK 65mm throttle body or is it made to work with larger air inlet throttle bodies.
This Nitrous Express Nitrous Kit is designed to work with the stock throttle body size, however, it can be used with a larger throttle body as long as the mounting holes line up. When using a larger throttle body, the plate will be slightly smaller, as it was designed for the stock throttle body size.
Fitment Hello, I have a 97 cobra with a Paxton blower and full Aeromotive inline fuel system with no Schreider valve on the fuel rail. Can this unit be made to work? Is there an adapter that can be used to make the fuel line work?
I have almost the same set up on my 03 mach1. It can be done, but you have to do some research and purchase extra parts and redo the fuel feed from one side to the other. I found a T an fitting that work for me. I put one end into the fuel rail the other end to the feed line to the other side rail. the other end to the nitrous relay valve. I if you want nitrous with the fuel rails, you are going to do some work. Go to Nitrous Express web site they have some ideas and a tech line to help you further.

This nitrous kit is amazing. At first I thought the it was expensive, but once I installed it, I quickly changed my mind. Recommend to all.

Kit came with all the wrong fittings. Contacted AM and they sent me an extra bottle mount and no fittings. Selonoids leaked.
