Procharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger Kit (03-04 Mach 1)

AmericanMuscle no longer carries the Procharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger Kit (03-04 Mach 1). Please check out 1999-2004 Mustang Supercharger Kits & Accessories for an updated selection.

Features & Details

  • 60-70% Horsepower Increase
  • P-1SC Supercharger
  • 8-10 psi of Boost
  • Computer Chip Included
  • 3-Core Air-To-Air Intercooler Included
  • Designed for Stock Applications Only
  • Fits 2003-2004 Mach 1 Mustangs
More Horsepower! The stock Mach 1 Mustang came with a respectiable 300 Horsepower and 302 lb/ft of Torque from the factory, but after installation a ProCharger-equipped 4.6L Mach 1 Mustang can make 60-70% more horsepower at the flywheel. Thanks to the industry's coolest charge air temperatures, the unmatched power gains are delivered with maximum reliability and everyday drivability.

High Capacity Intercooler. If you have the desire to continue modding your Mustang even after adding a ProCharger Supercharger, then this is the Kit for you. The 3-core air-to-air intercooler included with the Stage II Kit has a higher capacity than the High Output (HO) Kit. This Stage II kit will accommodate additional modifications as you continue to transform your Mustang into the highest horsepower beast possible.

Complete Kit. The ProCharger Stage II Intercooled System comes 100% complete, and includes ProCharger self-contained P-1SC supercharger, air-to-air intercooler, intercooler tubing, brackets, 39 lb/hr fuel injectors, ProFlow bypass valve and a computer chip.

Application. This ProCharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger System is specifically designed for use on the 2003 to 2004 Mach 1 GT Mustangs equipped with the 4 valve DOHC 4.6L modular engine.

Technical Note. This Complete Supercharger Kit is designed to be used on stock applications, as Procharger will only provide a tune for the stock motor with stock exhaust or most aftermarket axle-back and cat-back exhaust systems. If your vehicle is no longer stock and has been upgraded with an aftermarket throttle body, cold air intake, headers, off-road mid-pipe, etc..., Procharger will not be able to provide a tune for your modifications. For modified vehicles, it would be best to purchase a Tuner Supercharger Kit so you can have a local Dyno Shop custom tune your vehicle with your aftermarket upgrades.

Please Note. Procharger Supercharger Systems are built to order for our customers and accordingly, we require you to submit additional information about your vehicle using this form. Because of this there is a 14 day lead time on orders once your information is received.

Once the Customer Information Form is filled out, please email it to with your Order Number in the Subject line, so the order can be processed.

Other recommended or required parts? I was wondering what other parts I would need to take full potential of this supercharger? I did the math and I should be able to get around 500hp. Is this correct? Also would I be able to do this myself or should I leave it up to the pros?

      • I would definitely recommend a shop installation with this kit. Other supporting modifications I would recommend could be a full exhaust system, bigger throttle body, bigger injectors, a customer dyno tune, and at that point you could be looking into upgrades for the motor to help strengthen it to handle this kind of power. You will be looking at a 60-70% power increase over stock numbers which puts you at about 480hp or more depending on your supporting modifications.

Will this work with the stock internals of the mach 1 since I know that the mach1 isn't equipped with forged internals. Will the engine last when daily drive it and race with it I'm looking to produce around 450 to 460 horsepower.

      • This should be fine, as long as the car isn't abused too much or pushed too far this kit will definitely be fine for some spirited daily driving and racing as well. 450hp is just about that fine line I don't recommend going much higher than that with the stock motor.

The computer chip does that mean I dont have to get it tune after installing the procharger

      • Procharger will provide a tune for you however, Procharger will only provide a tune for the stock motor with stock exhaust or most aftermarket axle-back and cat-back exhaust systems. If your car is modified beyond this point you will need to get your own tune for the car.

Is an upgraded fuel pump a requirement with this kit, or will the stock one work just fine.

      • The stock fuel pump would run with this Procharger Stage II Intercooled Supercharger System but it would be best to upgrade your fuel pump.

          Supercharger with normally aspirated instructions

The performance boost is amazing, but the instructions and fit of many components is less then stellar. The Mach is a limited production car, so perhaps not many of these kits were sold. Just a few of the problems, no mention of the power steering cooler which needs to be relocated. The intercooler needs to go there. Bracket for the charger had too long of a bolt, stripping it out. The support for the radiator header tank was not even close to be correct in position or length. No mention of the MAFia kit wiring extension tune settings. It needs to be set on 3. I have a list of over 12 errors or omissions in the kit or instructions and they were only the significant ones. For $6300 I would expect decent directions and photos but that wasn’t the case. Great performance, but terribly written and photographed booklet included ,

          great kit but tough fit

I have installed several roush and tvs style superchargers and the installs were very straightforward. While this is an awesome kit its not a plug and play setup. Stuff just did not fit where the directions stated it should go. With the help of a good mechanic I was able to get it all in and working. If your good with the tools then this kit is a great choice. Kit was installed in a 04 Mach1 auto trans. The power increase is dramatic, expect to be blown away. It slams you back into your seat. Im loving it!!

Good proce for what you get

This install was pretty straight forward. Had a few hiccups. They dont include a MAF sensor so be sure to get one. I run rich and fouled out my plugs in s day because of it. But it has so much power compared to stock. Cant wait to its tuned and running at full capacity. All the parts are pretty much built to somewhat fit. Most things have to be modified for your car even thought they says its for a Mach 1. A/c lines were the worst.

          Awesome Power

I had Fastlane Motorsports in Benson, NC install and dyno tune. Got 450 rwhp and the stock clutch ain't going to last long with this. Already got a Spec stage 2+ coming. You want regret getting this for your Mach 1

          Awesome power!

I bought mine a few years back before AM offered them. The install took about 6-7 hrs the pump and injectors took up must of that time. I did have another set of hands helping me out. I would recommend getting a dyno tune to realize the kits full potential.
