      Review & Installation Video

Hey I'm Justin with, and I'm going to be breaking down the Pypes Pype bomb super system catback exhaust, fitting all 2011 and newer Mustang GTs. If you're looking for quite possible on of the most aggressive systems available for your Coyote Mustang, all for a very reasonable price, look no further than the Pype bomb super system. Taking a closer look at the kit itself you'll notice the mandrel bent 3" tubing and 100% stainless steel construction throughout. The kit does utilize the two mid mounted M80 Bullitt mufflers, which do a great job of keeping all the rasp and drone to a minimum, yet still allow this system to really scream. The free flowing super system is a combination of the mid pipe I just mentioned, and this Pype bomb axle back portion here, the axle back is basically this massive 4" resonated tip, which may as well be a megaphone for your Coyote motor. When it comes time to install the super system, just leave yourself a couple of hours to get everything knocked out. While there is a little bit of work to be done under the car, it can all be accomplished using some basic hand tools. Now let's hear how the Pype bomb super system sounds compared to our factory exhaust.

      Super-Aggressive, Throaty Sound.
The Pypes "Pype Bomb" Super System Cat-Back features two high flow straight-through M-80 Bullet Mufflers that are mounted directly after the Mid Pipe, instead of after the axle, to produce an aggressive deep throaty muscle car tone with the help of the same stainless steel resonator tips that Pypes uses on their "Pype-Bomb" Axle-Back Exhaust kit.

Quality Steel. This Pypes "Pype Bomb" Super System Cat-Back Exhaust system is constructed from free flowing mandrel bent 3" 409 stainless steel tubing and features two Pypes M-80 Bullet straight-through mufflers for an aggressive throaty sound. The whole system is finished off with a set of 4" polished 304 stainless steel resonator tips for modern Muscle Car styling.

Bolt-on Installation. The Pypes "Pype Bomb" Super System is a bolt-on exhaust kit, requiring no welding, cutting, or modification of your existing exhaust. The Pype Bomb kit simply connects directly to your factory H-pipe using the provided clamps and bolts.

Application. The Pypes "Pype Bomb" Super System Cat-Back Exhaust kit is specifically designed to simply bolt-on to the existing stock H-Pipe of the 2011-2014 5.0L GT Mustang for more power and a louder more aggressive sound.

4 2013 GT - Charles Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

Just installed these types on my 2013 5.0 and the sound is amazing! They're plenty loud, the only thing I don't like is I wish they would pop or crackle a little more, it's a smooth rev but no pops or anything.

        Excellent sound

For the price, the sound is very aggressive. Has enough crackles and pops to get attention. Also It’s only obnoxiously loud if you want it to be, which is a plus.

        Amazing sound

Sounds great, plenary of kackles and pops with moderate cabin noise at cruising speeds. Great value for the low price.

        Pypes review

I’m a pretty experienced mechanic. The install was pretty easy. I only had jack stands so I to cut the pipes before the stock mufflers to get the old stuff out. After that things went together pretty easy. The sound is as advertised. I wanted a little raspier tone but I still have the stock H pipe. I would recommend this exhaust system.

The car got a great loud exhaust tone for the price it is. Combined with the pypes xpipe, wonderful deep tone.

        Very loud

The sound is amazing. Really let's the 5.0 yell, while having a nice deep grumble. My only complaint is that there is a very loud drone around 2,000rpm. I have the x-pipe and long tube headers still to install. I'm hoping the drone goes away with those. But overall this system is awesome. The look and finish of them under the car is fantastic, not to mention the scream of them in a tunnel. ;) once you cut the old exhaust off, these go on and are done within an hour.

        Excellent exhaust for the money!

This system sounds fantastic!! It gives my car a deep throaty growl and some crackling around 3k rpm! Only downside is is has a little bit of cabin drone. All in all a great exhaust for the price!

        Perfect Sound

This system was worth every penny. The fact that it was relatively cheaper compared to other systems concerned me going into the purchase, but after the purchase and install I was super happy. The sound is perfect, acceleration is perfect, the pipes were much lighter than the factory pipes. I am in love with this system. Will be getting the x-pipes and headers from Pypes too.

        Best Choice

I replaced my Roush axle backs with this Pypes exhaust. My stang sounds like a nascar with this system including the pypes x-pipe.

Will this allow my 2014 GT to shoot flames?

      • That is a very good question, and unfortunately, no it will not allow you to shoot flames from the back of your car, although that would be very cool.

Do y’all have sound clips available for someone that wants to do pypes front to back. Pypes long tubes with pypes x-pipe and pypes cat back?

      • We do not have any sound clips of any kit-combinations. We suggest looking into something like youtube if you're trying to get more in-depth options of sound clips.

Is this legal, or will I get ticketed for emissions?

      • When it comes to exhaust, the only pieces of the exhaust that will effect emissions is the catalytic converters and the headers. If you aren't touching either, nothing will be changed emissions-wise.
