Increase in Performance and Sound. Upgrade your 2011-2014 GT exhaust to a Pypes Pype-Bomb Super System Cat-Back Exhaust with Black Tips and yield an instant increase in horsepower at the rear wheels. It features two of Pypes high flow M-80 Bullet Style Mufflers for the ultimate in unrestricted flow and power gains and a deeper throaty tone.

Aggressive Throaty Sound. The Pypes Pype-Bomb Super System Cat-Back features (2) high flow straight-through M-80 Bullet Mufflers. They are mounted directly after the Mid Pipe instead of after the axle to produce an aggressive, deep throaty muscle car tone. The system is then finished off with black stainless steel resonator tips, the same ones found on the Pype-Bomb Axle-Back Exhaust kit.

Quality Materials. This Pypes Pype-Bomb Super System Cat-Back Exhaust with Black Tips is constructed from free flowing, mandrel bent, 3" 409 stainless steel tubing and features (2) M-80 Bullet Mufflers for an aggressive throaty sound. Out the back is a set of 4" black 304 stainless steel resonator tips for a stealthy muscle car look.

Application. The Pypes Pype-Bomb Super System Cat-Back Exhaust with Black Tips is specifically designed to simply bolt-on to the existing stock H-Pipe of the 201 to 2014 5.0L GT Mustang.

I currently have the Roush axle-backs on my 2012 GT, tonally/volume wise how different are these from the Roush, and are these louder than something like the Flowmaster Outlaws?

Hessian5k

  • The flowmaster outlaw series cat-back or axle-back exhaust would be much louder than the roush axle-back exhaust you currently have.

If I get pypes long tube headers and offroad x-pipe along with this should everything fit together? or should I get away with this and the long tube headers?

JohnC

  • You would need to use a shorty xpipe for long tube headers for a proper fitment to use with the catback exhaust.

I have the Axle-Back version of this. Is there any way to buy the remaining parts to make it Cat-Back? Or I have to buy the whole thing all over?

Marko

  • Hello! We do not offer the over axle pipes and resonators from the Pypes Pype-Bomb Super System Cat-Back Exhaust outside of this kit.

What differences will there be from the headers to the tips if I did the axleback version of this with the long tube headers and x-pipe coming later instead of this catback version? Will I end up not having the mid-mounted mufflers? I'd love to eventually get the entire Pype-Bomb Super System, not sure if I want the axlebacks or catbacks.

BorchertRacing

  • The only difference between the axle back and the Pypes Pype-Bomb Super System Cat-Back Exhaust with Black Tips (11-14 GT) will be with the axle backs you will have your stock over axle pipes. Where as with the cat back it comes with the over axle pipes to connect to the mid-pipe.

    Big change

Had a shop install, took about 2 hours. Huge difference in sound, didn't notice any power increase but that's not why I got it anyway. With just this bolted onto stock system it sounds much meaner than before, fairly deep with a nice rasp. The tips look great as well, they fit the cutout very nicely. Only issue I have is around 70-80 mph in 6th the cabin sound is annoying and loud but worth it overall

    Real Muscle

Visual- Blacks tips looks amazing with my grabber blue. Nice 4 inch tips create a mean rear end look. Sound- perfect rumble, tone and no drone. If you want to be heard but still want to be able to hear your tunes then this is the setup for you. It roars all through the RPM range, and gurgles on down shift. Install- simple install no special tools required. Know that if you combine with the pypes O/R X-pipe you will need to order the extention pipes to mate with the cat-back. Price- Seemed pricey at forst but realized the outstanding quality I was getting. Don't we want the best for our babies! Worth every cent. Overall- parts came in excellent condition no scratches. Passenger side tip is a tad twisted but hardly noticeable. I couldn't be happier. Would recommend this product to everyone. No need to change setup you will be satisfied.

    Great SOUND!!!!

First off let me say that I have had nothing but 5 stars for all the of the Pypes exhaust set-ups I have purchased over the years. This Super System has one of the deepest tones I have heard from a 5.0 Mustang. Easy Install and the black tips really makes the rear of the Murder Stang look good. If you want a LOUD, DEEP, and LOW COST exhaust, than look no further. Click add to cart and purchase NOW, you will not be disappointed. ( Had a shop install mine due to me not having a lift available to pick the dropped stang off the ground. Took about an hour. )

    Catback

Fitment was okay, but honestly no where as near as loud as I thought it would be. Has more of a low deeper sound so if that's what your looking for then this does the job.

    Best bang for your buck!

I purchased these with the pypes long tubes and off road x-pipe. I haven't installed the tubes or pipe yet but this system by itself is already turning heads. One of the best exhaust notes that I've heard around town on a mustang. Definitely worth looking into.

    Love it!

I love my new exhaust! Super easy to install and fit perfectly, getting my old exhaust out was the only tricky part. Took a little less than 2 hours from start to finish for my dad and I to do. I get a lot of looks now and can definitely hear it now! It's not too over powering though so you can still talk and listen to music! You for sure get the most bang for your buck!

    Bad service

This is not a product review... I'm not sure how the actual pypes are because I haven't been able to instal them yet. It has taken over a month to get what I need to instal them due to missing parts in the initial delivery. It seems like Pypes has done as little as possible to remedy the situation because I am still waiting to get the parts I ordered over a month ago.

    LOUD AF

Put these on with long tube headers and an x-pipe. Loudest exhaust I ever heard. It makes people roll up their windows they can't take it. It's louder than a harley an I absolutely love it. Performance wise its a noticeable difference. The mechanic did have to do some welding as the x-pipe didn't fit with the headers... EVEN THOUGH I contacted AM before purchase and they confirmed that it would bolt on. Doesn't matter to me since my guy made it work.

    Best exhaust I've ever had

Deep throaty sound. Drone around 60-70 mph for me. Tips stick out a couple inches from the bumper, but it looks great and sounds great.
