Description
Ready To Rock! Increase the performance of your Coyote powered GT Mustang by upgrading to a RTR Tactical Performance Street Spec Cat-Back Exhaust. Designed and developed by Vaughn Gittin Jr., this RTR Cat-Back not only improves the power and performance of your GT, but it also adds an aggressive exhaust note. These are the same premium Street Spec mufflers that are included as original equipment on the Ford Mustang RTR. This RTR Exhaust was manufactured in close collaboration with Magnaflow to ensure quality performance.
Aggressive Sound. RTR worked closely with Magnaflow to achieve a very unique, yet aggressive sound that gets rid of the robotic tones of the Coyotes variable cams. The included Street Spec mufflers produce a clean and crisp consistent exhaust note with very minimal in cabin "drone." You will find that this Street Spec Exhaust is not as loud as RTR's Competition Spec Cat-Back system.
Quality Construction. Magnaflow manufactures the RTR Tactical Performance Street Spec Cat-Back Exhaust from mandrel bent, premium grade, 409 stainless steel tubing for long life and durability. This system includes an X-Pipe, that eliminates the factory mid-pipe resonator, and two free-flowing, chambered mufflers. The mufflers feature a pair of black finished 4" exhaust tips that feature the "RTR" logo for aggressive good looks.
Black Ceramic Coating. This RTR Tactical Performance Street Spec Cat-Back has been finished with a Black Ceramic protective coating. This coating not only gives this exhaust a dark and intimidating appeal, but it also provides a high temperature thermal barrier for additional protection from the elements.
Direct Bolt-on Upgrade. RTR's Cat-Back Exhaust with X-Pipe bolts straight up in the stock location with no cutting or extra modifications required. Installation of this RTR Cat-Back can be completed in about two hours with just basic hand tools.
Application. This RTR Tactical Performance Street Spec Cat-Back Exhaust with Black Tips is specifically designed to fit both fastback and convertible 2015-2017 GT Mustang models equipped with the 5.0L Coyote 4V DOHC V8 engine.
