Popular Tire Setups for this Wheel
Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, here with a classic Mustang wheel but with a little bit of a twist, I’m referring to our AmericanMuscle.com Bullitt wheels fitting all 94 or newer Mustangs, now available in a solid gloss black or solid matte black. If there’s any one wheel that simply belongs on a Mustang, it has to be the Bullitts, for some reason that iconic 5 spoke deep lip design works so well on these cars, from the classics, all the way to the newer body styles, up until recently your options have been fairly limited, a polished lip with a different color face. Well, now you can add these sinister all black options to that list. Our lightweight aluminum Bullitt wheels are available in a high gloss finish, or a slightly more reduced matte black with a satin clear coat. As for the sizing we’re looking at 17 and 18” diameters, and widths ranging from 8-10 inches. Since these are Bullitts you do have the option of going with that very cool deep dish feature which will give you that nice big lip, all these different options leaves you with a couple of choices, go staggered by sticking a wider wheel and tire on the rear, and if that’s the case you can even exaggerate that stance even more, by sticking a wider deep dish wheel on the rear and a non deep dish wheel up front. On the other hand you can go with a standard fitment by sticking the same width wheel and tire on all 4 corners, which will give you the ability to properly rotate those wheels and tires in the future. You can purchase these wheels by themselves if you like, however if you’re going to need some new rubber to go along with those new wheels, then why not let us do the work for you, we do offer a couple of pre built tire and wheel combinations, where we pair your Bullitts up with some of the top tires on the market today, in sizes that are guaranteed to fit your Mustang without rubbing, even if you’re lowered an inch or two. On top of all that, you get to take advantage of our free mounting and balancing and free shipping and handling. Finally all AmericanMuscle wheels are backed by a lifetime structural warranty, and a 1 year warranty on all finishes. Installing a new set of wheels and tires is something any backyard mechanic should be able to tackle, with the use of some basic hand tools and a floor jack. Making sure the car is on level ground first, go ahead and crack those lugs loose before you get the car in the air, once you’ve done that, simply jack the car up, swap out all 4 wheels and tires and that’s it, getting all this done should only take you about an hour from start to finish. Ok, so black wheels rule, we already know this, we also know that Bullitt wheels look great on Mustangs. Put them together, and you have a combination that cannot miss, so be sure to check out a set of all black Bullitts for your ride, right here at AmericanMuscle.com

What is TPMS? The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS for short) is a factory installed safety feature on all 2007 and newer Ford Mustangs that alerts you when your tire pressure drops to an unsafe limit.
How do I keep my TPMS feature? Aftermarket wheels do not come with TPMS sensors. However, if you select 'Add TPMS Sensor Kit' and your specific year range from the options listed above, we'll install the TPMS Sensors in your new wheels!

These are some nice wheels for what the price is for and there not as expensive.Helpful (2)
what is the offset on these wheels. when asking about tires at a local dealer they informed me that if the offset was incorrect the 245/40/17 tires might have an issue with the steering.
The offset of these wheels would be a +30mm.
Bullitt Solid Black Wheel Sumitomo Tire Kit - 17x8 (94-04 All) will these tires fit on my mustang 2003 base (225-55-16) plus I will need black log nuts?
The Bullitt Solid Black Wheel & Sumitomo Tire Kit - 17x8 (94-04 All) will fit on all stock ride height throw two inch lowered 1994-2004 Ford Mustangs. Factory lug nuts are compatible however black lug nuts are an option if one would like to match the wheel finish.
Do the wheels come with standard center caps? or do you have to buy them?
The Bullitt Solid Black Wheel will come with black AM center caps yes.
My car has 245/45/17 tires, which rims will work and what is the difference in 17x8, 17x9, and 17x 10.5?
With your 245/45R17 tires, you would want to order the Bullitt Solid Black Wheel in 17x8. 17" will be the wheel diameter, and the x8, x9, or x10.5 will be the width in inches.
Hi, I am interested in the Bullitt Solid Black Wheel and Sumitomo Tire Kit 17x8. I see two versions of it posted on your website in a video, (available in Matte Black and Gloss black) however, I do not see the Matte black version available in the tire package that I would like to purchase. I would prefer the Matte black version if its available? Please let me know if this is possible. If so I would like to purchase them! Thank you, Mario B
Thank you for your question about the Bullitt Solid Black Wheel & Sumitomo Tire Kit - 17x8 (94-04 All). You would be correct in that we do not have a dedicated kit for the Matte Black Bullitt Wheels with the Sumitomo Tires. However the price of the Bullitt Matte Black Wheel - 17x8 (94-04 All) and the same Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z Tire - 245/45R17 (79-04 All) if you were to purchase the items individually total the same price as the kit. Just make sure you have a mount and balance sku selected or your items will arrive individually. If you have additional questions or would like assistance placing your order, I would suggest calling in and speaking to a Representative at 1-888-271-8555. We cannot confirm fitment with non-Mustang models.
No the manufacturer does not offer these wheels for other models.
Yes, these will work on a 2007 model as well.
These wheels use a standard automotive 0.453" valve stem.
Yes, a 225/60R17 tire will work on a 17x8 wheel.
The 17x8 Bullitt wheels weigh around 21 pounds each.
The Bullitt Solid Black Wheel would not require the center caps to work no.
The Bullitt Solid Black Wheel will not clear the Brembo brakes found on the Boss 302 models.
Unfortunately, due to the brake sizing on all of S550 mustangs, this would not be a good fit on a 2016 mustang v6.
No, these will not fit over big brakes. Honestly it is always a good bet to assume none of our bullitts fit over big brakes.
Simple installation for anyone.
