      Review & Installation Video

Hey, I'm Justin with, and this is our powerpack Bolt-On Build-Up for all 94-98 Mustang GTs. Now before we get started, we're well aware of the fact that the 94-95 GTs came equipped with the 5.0 motor before eventually being replaced by the modular 4-6 in 1996. So, with that said, all the parts used here on our '98 today, will not apply to those earlier years, but the idea remains the same, to increase the power. So that's why we put together a pack of parts that should help our GT breathe a lot easier, in turn making for some more horsepower and torque, all while making for one mean exhaust note. Now, before we get started on our car, we need to grab a quick baseline number, and then hand that over to the crew to get everything installed.

      • Improves Airflow for More Power
      • Perfect for Larger Throttle Bodies
      • Durable Aluminum Construction
      • Fits 1996-2004 4.6L GT Mustangs

Improves Performance. Increase the airflow into your Mustang's two valve 4.6L V8 engine to improve horsepower, torque, and overall performance with a Mustang Upper Intake Plenum.

A Must For Larger Throttle Bodies. Installing a larger throttle body on the factory intake plenum still restricts incoming airflow, but now you get the most out of your Mustangs bigger throttle body by installing an upper intake plenum for improved air flow.

Precision Crafted. This Intake Plenum is made from a permanent mold casting of 356 aluminum to produce a higher quality casting than conventional sand molds, which reduces porosity for an improved finish.

Application. The Upper Intake Plenum is a direct bolt-in replacement for all 1996 to 2004 4.6L 2V Mustangs using a Stock, 70mm, or 75mm Throttle Body.

Got this and 70 MM throttle body and cold air kit, all came in 3 days and fit perfect . you will have to drill out the cable hole, took 5 min. and maybe I had problems to start but my 01 GT rag top runs so much if you are thinking about any of these I say do it.

4 1998 GT - Demetrios Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

Worth the price comparable to the more costly ones

Overall happy with this product. The only thing missing was the egr gasket, so be sure to save your old one. The one thing that was a bit annoying was getting some of the tubes that go into the hosing installed on the plenum. One of them (the one in towards the firewall) was a 90 degree, which on the stock plenum was more like 120 degrees. It was the most difficult to install. Other than that, the price is amazing for what you are getting. Great product.

what gains can i expect if i buy this intake with the 70mm sr tb along with the spacer I allready have cai. Would i get better gains buying the sct bama tuner Before this setup ?I plan on doing all of these. Eventually thank you. Very much for your time.

      • The Bama Tuner would be a better choice. You get 3 tunes that are custom for your car and mods. And if you go with this intake at a later date they will adjust you tune so you get the most out of it. Plug and Play Power!
