They fit on a 05 GT with stock suspension?

        • The SR Performance Anti-Roll Ball Joint Kit are a direct replacement so it will work with the stock suspension on the 05-09 model Mustangs.

I read that our ball joints aren't serviceable because they get pressed in the control arm from the factory and don't use a typical snap ring setup. How are these any different, if i press them in myself what's holding them in? Just the nut and my strength?

        • The SR Performance Anti-Roll Ball Joint Kit is pressed in to the control arm. Due to these being a friction fit, they will stay in place when installed with a ball joint press. You will be unable to install these by hand. All ball joints are pressed. Some use snap rings as an extra holding measure, however being pressed is what holds the ball joint in to the control arm or spindle. OEM ball joints can be pressed out and new ones pressed in, however typically the labor is more than the replacing the entire control arm assembly.

If installed on a stock height 2008 GT500, will there be any benefits as far as suspension steering geometry or handling characteristics?

Do you have to use the snap ring if the snap ring won’t fit ? 2009 Shelby GT500

        • Some use snap rings as an extra holding measure, however being pressed is what holds the ball joint into the control arm or spindle.

            Heads up

Once you get the old ball joint out The stock control arm has a lip that will roll up the new ball joint if you try to press it in,and won’t allow clearance for the snap ring what I did was smooth out the the hole with a grinder , clean the hole and lubricanted it with grease before inserting the new ball joint.

            Quality Product

Great Ball Joint Kit. Came in packaged well with joint, snap, ring, and grease fitting. Definitely very well made robust/heavy duty and a definite upgrade as compared to stock. I installed them on a lowered daily driver mustang as preventative maintenance. I travel daily nearly 70 miles on a very winding country road and felt an immediate handling improvement.
