Hey everybody, Justin with AmericanMuscle.com here. In this video, I'm gonna be breaking down the SR Performance Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit, available for your 94 to 04 Mustang GT, V6, and Mach1, and all 94 to 98 Mustang Cobras. This is another great option from SR Performance that will ultimately help your ride perform better, but without you having to empty your wallet in the process. In fact, this is the most affordable set of sway bars for your SN95 here on the site, and they're still gonna offer all the same performance benefits as some of the more expensive options. The stock sway bars these SR options are gonna replace on your 94 to 04 Mustang are really all over the place when it comes to overall diameter, but they do have one thing in common. They can all be upgraded. Now I've always said if there's ever one mod that would be instantly effective when it comes to handling and something you're truly gonna feel the moment you get behind the steering wheel, it's a set of aftermarket sway bars.So in terms of what you can expect when installing a set of aftermarket sway bars here, well, overall the car's gonna feel far more stable and basically suffer from far less body roll than before whenever you're doing some hard cornering or hard maneuvering. And this is gonna help the car feel more composed overall. So know that you know what you can expect when installing a set of aftermarket sway bars, let's break down the SR kit a little further, starting with the front bar here, which is the larger of the two bars. Now, this bar is gonna be 35 millimeters in diameter. and it's hollow or tubular, which is nice because it's gonna save a lot of weight up front of the car compared to a heavier solid bar. But it's still gonna offer all the same performance and stiffness characteristics of that heavier solid bar.The rear bar, on the other hand, is 24 millimeters in diameter, and it's going to be a solid bar. Now with both of these sway bars working together, you're gonna help eliminate the understeering characteristics of your SN95. You know that feeling where it just wants to plow through the turns. Instead, the car should help rotate through the turns much better, and again still feel very balanced overall. The sway bars from SR Performance are cold-formed from high-quality aircraft grade steel before being finished off in this attractive black powder coat, which is just gonna help resist any corrosion, to help look good under the car for years to come. In addition to the bars themselves, SR does include brand new M links here, along with new polyurethane bushings to help replace some of that worn out stuff on your stocker, in addition to all the hardware needed for the installation.Speaking of getting dirty, we're gonna call this a two out of three on the wrench chart here in terms of overall difficulty, because obviously there is some work going on underneath the car. In addition, some of you guys out there will be dealing with 20-year-old bolts that may be a little rusty. Overall, the job really isn't all that difficult. Of course, a lift will make life a whole lot easier, but either way figure a couple of hours from start to finish to get both bars installed.Again. guys, if you're not satisfied with what I'm telling you in these videos and you want more info, well then I encourage you to pick the brain of one of our highly trained Mustang experts. You can reach out anytime here at AM. So if you're looking for quite possibly one of the best bang for your buck handling mods you can do for your SN95, then be sure to check out the SR Performance Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit, available right here at AmericanMuscle.com.
