Description
Rear Brake Upgrade. The SSBC-USA Rear Drum to Disc Brake Conversion Kit replaces the factory drum brakes with modern disc brakes, improving stopping power and overall brake system reliability. This upgrade is designed to enhance vehicle safety while maintaining compatibility with original wheel fitment.
Construction and Appearance. The kit includes single piston cast iron calipers with a clear anodized finish for corrosion resistance. The 10.25-inch diameter vented rotors offer durability suited for daily driving, and all mounting brackets are e-coated to resist rust. The calipers incorporate a built-in internal parking brake mechanism.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a bolt-on design that requires no drilling or permanent modifications to the vehicle. All necessary hardware and complete instructions are included to facilitate a smooth upgrade process.
Application. This conversion kit is designed for 1987-1992 Mustang rear axles with 4 lug patterns.
