      Description

      Drag-Tuned Launch Performance. This Stage 1 package optimizes front-end suspension for maximum traction off the line by controlling dive and weight transfer. The monotube shocks feature valving calibrated to smooth initial jounce and hold the nose up during launch, while the coil springs bear preload collars that adjust static ride height and spring rate balance for your specific drag setup.

      Durable, Precision-Machined Components. The red-anodized aluminum shock bodies resist corrosion and heat while providing consistent damping under repeated drag events. Cartridge design allows easy fluid service, and high-durometer rubber mounts minimize deflection without harshness. All parts are CNC-machined to precise tolerances, ensuring predictable, repeatable performance session after session.

      Installation. Remove the factory strut and spring assembly, transfer or install the coilover units with the supplied hardware, adjust spring preload collars to desired height, and torque mounts to Chevrolet specifications. A wheel alignment is recommended after installation.

      Application. The UMI Performance Stage 1 Drag Front End Handling Suspension Package; Red fits 1998–2002 Chevrolet Camaro models equipped with the 5.7L V8, excluding 30th Anniversary SS editions.
