Proportionally Increase Fuel Delivery. Vortech's Charger Fuel Management Unit with -4 Fittings is a secondary fuel regulator installed on the fuel tank's return line. This regulator features a boost reference, accurately increasing fuel delivery in response to boost pressure to produce an accurate air/fuel ratio along the entire boost curve. Without proper fuel delivery, your Challenger can fall into a lean condition during boost in which not enough fuel is injected into the cylinder, resulting in pre-detonation, poor fuel economy, poor performance, and even engine damage.
