      Description

      Lightweight Construction. The Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger - Complete Kit - Polished will help unleash more power from your Mustang immediately. This system is made from flow-tested cast aluminum with OEM-style, cast 356 aluminum mounting brackets. It features lightweight aluminum impellers that are heat-treated and high-speed balanced to guarantee a smoother operation. Vortech's "Super Quiet" technology means a near-silent operation with unmatched reliability. This version features a classic polished finish for a refined look.

      Benefits & Gains. The included oil feed and oil drain assembly delivers the best possible lubrication and cooling for the supercharger, even when faced with sustained boost conditions. With an average of 8 lbs. of boost, this system will safely increase your Mustang's factory horsepower from 260 to 364, and the torque from 302 ft/lbs. to 371 ft/lbs.

      Difficult Installation. Installation for a supercharger kit can be fairly difficult, especially since it requires relocating a number of parts. Vortech's supercharger comes with everything necessary for the install, from mounting brackets to replacement wiring. Even so, it is recommended that you have a professional mechanic carry out the install. It can take about a full day to complete.

      Application. The Vortech V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger - Complete Kit - Polished will fit any 2000-2004 Ford Mustang GT.

      Technical Note. This Supercharger Kit is designed to be used on stock applications, as Vortech will only provide a tune for the stock motor with stock exhaust or most aftermarket cat-back exhaust systems. If your vehicle is no longer stock and has been upgraded with an aftermarket throttle body, cold air intake, headers, off-road mid-pipe, etc..., Vortech will not be able to provide a tune for your modifications. Modified cars will require custom tuning. Also vehicles with ECU codes of RKN or MDE will not be supported by Vortech, custom tuning will be required for operation.
