High-Performance Supercharger Upgrade. The Whipple Gen 5 3.8L Twin-Screw Supercharger Upgrade Kit significantly enhances the airflow and power capacity of your engine. Designed for serious high-horsepower builds, it delivers immediate boost response and strong power throughout the RPM range, making it a critical upgrade for racing and custom performance applications.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features a Gen 5 3.8L twin-screw supercharger with advanced 3/4 asymmetrical rotors and a high-flow housing design. It is precision-engineered from durable materials and is available in wrinkle black, polished, or custom finishes, balancing rugged durability with aggressive styling.
Installation. The supercharger mounts directly to the factory lower intake manifold. Installation requires custom local tuning after installation. This kit uses the factory injectors, fuel rails, heat exchanger system, and MAF sensor in its base configuration. No fuel system, programmer, or tuning components are included.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 07-12 Mustang GT500.
