Hey, guys. Adam here with americanmuscle.com. And today, we're taking a really quick look at and installing the SEC10 fog light tint in the smoked finish available for the '08 and newer Challenger. Very simply put, you should be checking this out if you're looking for a cost-effective solution to tinting out your factory fog lights in order to get a nice stealthy, aggressive look at the front end.Tinting your fog lights is gonna be a cost-effective solution compared to just picking up an actually smoked lens with an aftermarket fog light itself. This way you can retail all of that. Just pick up a really high-quality tint, and apply it yourself in the driveway at home. Now this tint here isn't just a really thin, flimsy material. This is durable 5-mill PVC vinyl that has a protective coating on top to not only protect it from scratches but it's also gonna protect it from any bubbling to happen under the surface. The worse thing you can have when it comes to tint is a bubbled surface that doesn't look finished enough. This is gonna avoid that by applying really simply onto your of lights with a smooth, complete finish. Now, this guy is gonna come in right around 25 bucks for the pair. So, it's extremely affordable. And the high-quality tint is gonna last a long, long time. That's also assuming you install it correctly. Cleaning off the surface of your fog light is by far the most important part of the actual process itself. You wanna get rid of all the dirt and dust preventing a good bond between the tint and the fog light lens. With that said, guys, the install is gonna get one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter. You really don't need any hand tools. I do recommend using soap and water mixture in a squirt bottle along with a clean microfiber to make sure you're cleaning the surface properly first. I'm gonna show you what that process looks like. It's gonna take you about 20 minutes. What do you say we get started? The only thing needed for the install is a soap and water mixture and a clean microfiber.First step here is arguably the most important. You wanna grab a squirt bottle of a soap and water mixture, and we're gonna clean off the fog light itself. This is crucial. You wanna get off all the dirt and dust from that lens to make sure your tint gets a really good bond so it doesn't come off over time. Clean up the area around it. Let that guy dry off. And now, we can apply it. Next up, we're gonna peel off the vinyl. You wanna make sure you're not putting your fingerprints all over the center. So try to stick to the edges. From here, we're gonna go straight up to the fog light and try to center it at the top. Work your way down. And now, we can carefully apply it from the outside edges down. That way, we can avoid bubbles. Start with your thumb in the middle. Work your way out to the edges and apply it. All right. Once you have that applied, do the same thing for the other fog light. That's gonna wrap up my review and install for the SEC10 fog light tint in the smoked finish available for the 2008 and newer Challenger. Again, if you're looking for a really cost-effective solution to getting a smoked fog light without picking up an entirely new one, this is a great way to go, and it's on for the long haul.
