      Not bad, not bad..

It has a aggressive raspy sound under hard acceleration and cold starts..But i also have resonator deletes and a no muffler axle back exhaust..I just wish it was a little bit louder though..So overall not bad for the price!

      Bbk after cat x

Delivery was quick, and it bolted right up with ease. Have to get the oem cat to x pipe just right for no leaks. Like most people state it kinda silences a bit at idle. Driving though another story specially when wot. Thanks AM AND BBK.

      Perfect fit

Perfect fit with everything else stock. However, I was kinda surprised that is was more silent compared with the stock H-pipe, especially on low rpm's.

      Affordable Mod, should be mandatory.

Extremely loud! Sounded great. I added this to my long tube headers with a Borla exhaust. Worth it! Highly recommend it.

      BBK X-pipe

At first you're just confused on why it doesn't sound crazy different but once you step on that pedal it's got the right flow and right tone other than the bolt being pointed straight up to the frame from the cat clamp I'm happy with it.

      Direct bolt on !!

I bought this x pipe, along with the cat delete pipes!! Everything fits like factory! And has the aggressive sound that I'm used to on my mustangs! BBK has always had good quality parts , that fit, for a good price! Also like everyone says, it is a pain to get factory bolts off. I actually snapped 2, and that was easier than getting the other 2 , wish all would of broke off!! Very happy stangbanger once again !!

      Just Awesome!!!!

I bought the BBK Cat deletes about a year ago and was running them with no mufflers (still have the resonators). The exhaust was loud and sounded pretty good, but a little obnoxious at WOT. I purchased this x-pipe and couldn't be happier!!! I love it. It smoothed out the exhaust sound, made it more throaty, not so raspy. I can feel a difference in the performance too, woke that thing right up. Fitment; I had a shop install it and weld them to the Cat deletes, cost 50 bucks!!! Well worth the time and headache it saved me trying to get them to seal against the deletes. So now I am running BBK Cat deletes and X-pipe, with resonators and no mufflers, throw in the MPT Ghost cam tune, and it's music to my ears. Thanks AM and BBK!!!!!!!

      Good cheap mod

Took no longer than 45 minutes, quieter at low rpms especially in cabin. Has a nice rasp especially on downshifts and fairly noticeable gains. If I had to say I'd find a local shop to buy from you're just paying for the brand name

It seems everyone swears by an x pipe...???

I had a few $100`s set aside for a few parts so I figured I`d see what the fuss was all about with an x pipe. Come to find out, there is no fuss just rasp...rasp for days. I would like to say though that Installation was simple. It literally bolts right up. The exhaust note with Roush AB`s at WOT is respectable; gives the car a decent racey/raspy growl. But it really does tone down the Roush AB`s, which in my opinion is contradicting. You don`t install the Roushes only to make it quieter. The car idles smoother but again quieter. Hp gains won`t be felt till mid-high rpm range. Unless you`re spending much of your time there, you won`t truly appreciate the shift in power. Those that daily drive or are an occasional street light racer will have much to desire in terms of low end power. I figured I`d give myself more time to adjust to the x pipe but truth be told, I find myself missing the h pipe and the true loudness of the Roush AB`s!

      Nice product!

I picked up the x-pipe as a new small project for my mustang. This is my first dual exhaust car, and I wanted to change the tone up a bit from the current setup (stock with Roush axlebacks). I did the install on jack stands at all four corners. The c-clamps on the cat end of the H-pipes were a challenge, but eventually I was able to loosen them. I used a Dremmel cutting disc to detach the clamps from the H-pipe. The install was challenging for me because I've never done one of these before. I tightened one clamp to the passenger cat and couldn't mate the driver cat. Regrouping, I loosened the tight clamp and was able to line up the cats and the x-pipe. My stack of 2x4s supporting the exhaust collapsed at one point, so I recommend using a jack stand to hold up the rest of the exhaust while you work. So key points - you'll have to break two bolts that are in a very tight spot next to the cats, and support the exhaust with something solid! All that being said, I've noticed that the low end torque is less punchy, which is fine by me. There is also a louder growl at idle, which I enjoy. Had I done this before, it may have been an hour or two for install, so maybe find a buddy that knows what they're doing if its your first rodeo, but definitely doable with hand tools.
